Changes to state h**p regulations are coming soon under the Illinois H**p Act.

Starting November 12, intoxicating h**p products containing more than 0.4 milligrams of total THC will be reclassified as cannabis and regulated under the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act. Reclassified intoxicating h**p products will be sold in licensed dispensaries to people age 21+ only.

What does this mean for communities? Intoxicating h**p products like Delta-8 and THC-P are currently sold by unlicensed retailers. These products can be found at gas stations, convenience stores, smoke shops, and more. Moving intoxicating h**p products to licensed dispensaries cuts down on youth access and exposure.
