What does it look like to follow Christ in an industry known for tight deadlines, intense competition, and shifting values? For filmmaker and creative director Pat Buenaobra, the answer is simple but challenging: bring your faith with you—everywhere. In a recent episode of the Black Shirt Crew podcast, Pat shared his journey of serving God both inside the church and in mainstream media, offering a refreshing perspective for creatives who feel caught between calling and career.

Thank you for helping us to GO!

Go. 🌏
Not because it’s convenient. Not because it’s easy. But because someone across the world is still waiting to hear the hope of Jesus. Every post, every prayer, every act of obedience can carry His truth farther than we can see. Let’s keep sharing the Gospel boldly—because His Message was never meant to stay small.

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” — Mark 16:15

Calling all church leaders! Did you know we have a podcast just for you?

How to Make Social Media Into a Social Ministry That Matters to Others | Connected Faith

In this episode, Bill Snyder and Lane McDonald explore how churches can move beyond using social media as an announcement board and instead use it as a tool for real ministry and engagement in the digital space.

Bottom line: Social media becomes most effective when churches use it to meet people where they are, listen to their needs, and point them to hope with practical next steps.

As media ministers and church volunteers, we are uniquely positioned to place the light on a stand. Whether in the sanctuary or online, we are not called to dim the light or tuck it safely away. We are called to let it shine where darkness is thickest.

As we serve this week, let’s refuse to treat our faith like accent lighting. Let’s place it on the stand. Let’s allow Christ to illuminate us fully. Let Him shine through us so that everyone who comes near may see His light.

Every day, Asia Pacific Media is equipping pastors, creatives, churches, and digital missionaries to carry the Gospel into places many of us may never physically go.

A phone becomes a mission field.
A video becomes hope.
A story becomes the moment someone encounters Jesus.

And right now, we need faithful believers willing to help us continue this work.

Just $10 a month from 8 supporters can cover one full hour of ministry and outreach through AP Media.

One hour that could help train a church.
One hour that could help create Gospel-centered content.
One hour that could help someone across the world hear the name of Jesus for the very first time.

Would you prayerfully consider answering the call?

Because what we place in God’s hands never stays small.

Somewhere tonight, a girl is laying in bed scrolling through her phone with tears sliding silently into her pillow, wondering if God still sees her.

And maybe the answer reaches her through a screen.

A testimony.
A simple video.
A quiet invitation toward Jesus.

We forget sometimes that the internet can become holy ground when surrendered people use it for the Kingdom.

That’s what Asia Pacific Media is doing. They are training ordinary believers, pastors, creatives, and storytellers across Asia to use media to carry the hope of Christ farther than their own hands could ever reach.

Because the world is searching.
Hurting people are typing questions into search bars at 2 a.m.
Young people are looking for truth in the middle of endless noise.
Churches are trying to reach generations who may never walk through their doors first.

And maybe multiplication in this generation looks like faithful believers saying yes to helping the Gospel travel through phones and videos and stories and reels and whispered testimonies that land right on time.

I think about the little boy who handed Jesus his lunch.
It didn’t look like enough either.

But what we place in His hands never stays small.
