Because of your support, you truly made an impact on students and teachers across Springfield Public Schools. Every dollar raised through this campaign goes directly toward supporting educators and providing opportunities and resources that make a difference in the classroom.

On Friday, August 28, filling up your gas tank can do more than get you where you need to go. It can help fuel brighter futures for Springfield Public Schools students.

The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools is partnering with Rapid Robert’s for this community fundraiser. Rapid Robert’s will donate 10¢ for every gallon of gas sold at participating Springfield and Battlefield locations.

Your generosity just turned the real world into a classroom! 🌿🔍

Because of our amazing donors, 92 first and second-graders at the Phelps Center for Gifted Education got to experience "Hopping Through the Habitats." This immersive field trip, led by teacher Amanda Schoonover, allowed students to step directly into the diverse ecological environments they’ve been studying in their life sciences curriculum. 🐸🌱

As the teachers shared: “It was a powerful experience that transformed abstract ecological concepts into tangible, memorable lessons for our young learners... Students thoroughly embraced the interactive activities, proving that hands-on exploration is vital for engaging gifted minds.”

You can help us fund even more dynamic student experiences like this one! 🚀 Join our Grant SPS campaign to help us reach our goal of raising $300,000 by Aug. 31st so we can award new grants to educators this fall.
