We recently added speed bumps and additional signs to our parking lot to encourage slower driving and help keep participants, visitors, and staff safe as they come and go.

Caring for our grieving community includes making the path to our doors safer, too.

When families come for an orientation tour at Lost & Found Grief Center, we offer them a custom blanket. We are thankful for the incredible volunteers who create these. Recently, Vicki Plunkett, Denise Swain, and Janey Combs dropped off some new blankets.

This volunteer opportunity came about through the Give 5 program, which introduces retirees to serving opportunities in our community.

Thank you, Vicki, Denise, and Janey, for these beautiful blankets that bring help, hope, and healing to grieving families.

It was a special Sunday today in St. Louis as part of the 2026 Celebrate Life 5K Run/Walk hosted by Mid-America Transplant 💚🧡💙 In addition to cheering on runners and walkers, we invited people to create custom clips to honor their person and continued to remind people that no one should grieve alone. 💚💙

We are so thankful for the many ways the Lost & Found Junior Board steps up to support our mission. This fall, they have helped raise awareness and funds to support grieving families. 🧡💙

On Sunday, September 27, our Junior Board (and their friends) hosted GameDay 2026, and earlier this month, they collaborated with Lucid TLC for the Chalk Art contest in Nixa.

Throughout the year, the Junior Board shares their time, talent, and heart for what we do. They truly make a difference, often behind the scenes. 🧡💙

We are so thankful for this group of young leaders!

"There weren't 12 strangers who supported me in my grief before I came to Lost & Found." 💙🧡

Sometimes, the people who understand your grief best are the ones you haven't met yet. This participant's words are a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

At Lost & Found Grief Center, our therapeutic grief support groups bring people together who share the experience of loss. Through connection, understanding, and the support of others, strangers become friends, and grief becomes something you don't have to carry alone.

Today, we are reflecting on an incredible day of art, creativity, community, and grief awareness!🧡💙

On Saturday, September 12, we joined forces with Lucid Tlc Arts for the Between Two Rivers Fine Art Fair and our 2026 Chalk Art Contest! The streets were filled with talented chalk artists, and we loved seeing the creativity and heart behind every piece.

💙🧡 It takes a team to reflect hope!

Lost & Found Grief Center serves hundreds of grieving children, adults, and families in our community each year. Behind that impact is a dedicated team working together to provide help, hope, and healing through professional grief support services.

Last week, members of our Board of Directors, Junior Board, and staff gathered for an evening of connection and an opportunity to get to know one another beyond our usual roles at Lost & Found.

Together, our 18 Board members, 10 Junior Board members, and 12 staff members bring unique perspectives, talents, and experiences to our mission.

Gatherings like this remind us of the unique contributions we each bring to our mission and the greater impact we can make together.

We're grateful for everyone who gives their time, talent, and heart to ensure no one has to grieve alone! 💙🧡

Come cheer on the Chiefs as they take on the Dolphins at BigShots Golf on Sunday, Sept. 27, at noon!

GameDay 2026 is more than a watch party. It’s a chance to support Lost & Found Grief Center while you golf, shop the silent auction, enjoy great food, and hang out with fellow Chiefs fans! 🧡💙

🎟️ Individual tickets are still available for $100 and include shared bay space, lunch buffet, two sodas, two drink tickets, and a raffle ticket. Doors open at 11 a.m.
