Itus Virtus

Itus Virtus Itus Virtus is a non-profit Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, which was started to help other civil servants and the general public. "Help us, help others".

To protect, serve, and support local charities. All while spreading the joy of riding. ITUS VIRTUS LAW ENFORCEMENT MOTORCYCLE CLUB

We are a fraternal non-profit motorcycle organization built by men and women who share similar interest, hobbies, and ideas. Originally, we were created out of the founders’ vision to promote safety, charity, and service. The primary focus of the ITUS VIRTUS LEMC has

since been moved to community involvement and secondarily to promote our interest and recreation. The basic ideology to protect, serve, and support our community - runs through our blood and very definition of who we are, as many of our founders and members are local civil servants. As a club we continue to offer help to injured civil servants and the community by promoting fun runs and charity runs alike. The Itus Virtus LEMC was originally founded by a group of 13 individuals with different backgrounds and personalities. Since, we have grown to five charters and spread into two different states. Our original club was created on September 11th 2013 (in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11/2001). Founding Club

This past weekend Itus Virtus and the community were able to place 6,300 wreaths on veterans headstones at the Springfield Veterans Cemetery. That was enough to completely cover the cemetery for the holiday season. If you missed out and want to help lay wreaths for veterans, we will be placing wreaths on veterans headstones at the Springfield National Cemetery on December 18, 2021 at 11am. Please come out and join us.

We will be returning to the Wreath program this year. The information is contained in the flyer below.

WREATHS FOR FALLEN HEROES PROGRAM:

It is with great regret that we have to bring this information to you, but with the Corona Virus, the limits on amount of people allowed to gather at one place at a time and with the unavailability of wreaths this year, we will not be having our Wreaths for Fallen Heroes program.

We apologize for the late notice, but we were attempting to still put the program together until today. We found out that both the Veterans Cemetery and the National Cemetery will not allow programs to be hosted but we were going to attempt to put out Wreaths with just our members until we found the supplier had issues with providing wreaths for the program due to the Corona Virus.

All proceeds that have been raised for the 2020 program will be kept and used for the program in 2021.

We are 100% committed to resuming our Wreaths for Fallen Heroes program in 2021 and hope you all will join us for it.

Tonight, our thoughts are with Sheriff Roye Cole and the men and women of the Webster County (MO) Sheriff's Office and their families and communities.

They lost Deputy Sheriff Justin Burney in an off duty car crash on I-44 tonight after another car crossed the median and hit he and his children head on.
