This week, we're celebrating Case Management Week and recognizing our incredible Case Managers, Outreach Workers, and Care Coordinators for the difference they make every day in the lives of the people we serve. 💜

Yasmin, a Care Coordinator, and Kimberly, an Outreach Worker, are part of the BHN team that helps people navigate life's challenges and connect with the support they need. Through compassion, advocacy, and expertise, they help individuals access healthcare, housing, benefits, and other community resources so they can achieve their goals and thrive.

Case management is about more than connecting people to services. It's about helping individuals overcome barriers, coordinating care, advocating for their needs, and providing guidance every step of the way.

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, our Valley Human Services team wore purple to stand in solidarity with survivors and recognize their ongoing work supporting individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.

BHN provides confidential support, advocacy, and education to help people find safety, healing, and hope. We also offer services that promote accountability and help build safer, healthier communities.

BHN Senior Vice President Kathy Mague and Social Justice Coordinator Jamal Gilbert were proud to attend the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce's 9th Annual Game Changers Conference & Expo.

The event brought together business and community leaders from across Central Massachusetts to discuss opportunities and challenges shaping our region, including the critical need for safe, stable housing. We were honored to hear from Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll and connect with partners who share our commitment to stronger, healthier communities.

Join us in congratulating Katy, one of our recent HEART Peer Recognition Award winners! 💜

The BHN HEART Peer Recognition Awards celebrate team members who bring our values of Humanity, Empowerment, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork to life every day.

Katy has been part of BHN since 1999, first as a clinician and later bringing her clinical and analytical expertise to our Information Systems team. Most recently, she played an essential role in integrating our new Worcester programs into BHN’s electronic health record system.

From identifying challenges and developing detailed tracking tools to creating complex system components, Katy has worked tirelessly to help ensure our Wrocester programs are set up for success. Her colleagues say they can count on her not only to get the job done, but to look at the bigger picture and make sure each implementation works for everyone involved.

Supporting successful re-entry starts with connection.

At the Springfield Community Justice Support Center open house, BHN’s Behavioral Health for Justice Involved Individuals (BH-JI) and Community Support Program for Individuals with Justice Involvement (CSP-JI) teams connected with people navigating re-entry, probation officers, re-entry navigators, and community providers to share resources and ways BHN can support a successful transition back into the community.

From behavioral health and recovery services to help accessing housing, benefits, and other community resources, our teams help people build stability and move forward toward their goals.

It was great to connect with so many people and community partners, share resources, and learn more about the work happening to support successful re-entry. Thank you to our team members for being there and helping strengthen these important community connections!
