The first day of spring is here, and at the Springfield Boys & Girls Club, we’re ready for longer days, warmer weather, and so many exciting moments with our members.

🏀 27 Years of Community Basketball in Springfield

The 27th Annual Playa’s Ball Basketball Tournament returns to the Springfield Boys & Girls Club on Friday, April 3, 2026 — and this tradition just keeps getting stronger.

More than a tournament, Playa’s Ball is about community pride, mentorship, alumni, families, and creating opportunity for local youth.

Summer is almost here — and for many Springfield families, that’s when support matters most. When school is out, parents are balancing work and childcare, and kids need a safe, positive place to grow and thrive.

At the Springfield Boys & Girls Club, we’re committed to making sure no Springfield youth is turned away, especially during the summer months.

✨ That’s a wrap on the 25th Annual Festival of Trees! ✨

What an unforgettable season. From the moment the doors opened, the Festival of Trees was filled with joy, generosity, and holiday magic—and it was all made possible by our incredible community.

To our sponsors, tree donors, volunteers, performers, vendors, media partners, and everyone who walked through the doors: thank you. Your support helped create meaningful moments for families while directly supporting the kids and teens of the Springfield Boys & Girls Club.

Celebrating 25 years made this festival especially meaningful, and it was inspiring to see so many familiar faces alongside new ones who are now part of our Festival of Trees story.
