The Springdale Public Library and NWA Film Club invite you to a documentary screening of THE DONUT KING on September 12 at 1pm! As part of Welcoming Week NWA 2026, we’re celebrating neighbors, cultures, and belonging with the fascinating story of Cambodian refugees who transformed the donut industry in America. Director Alice Gu will be joining for a virtual discussion, plus we’ll have a free donut buffet and coffee bar! So come join us for some treats and stimulating conversation about the immigrant experience.

Wowweee! Last night was such a good vibe! ✨ It was an honor to showcase so many incredible shorts from our local filmmakers, and we packed Backroom Social Club for a completely full house! Thank you to everyone for showing up and being a part of the club. 🧡

Hear ye, hear ye! 🗣️ Announcing the program for our Local Short Film Showcase on July 11! Join us at Backroom Social Club at 7pm for socializing with fellow film lovers and makers, followed by showtime at 8pm.

🎥 Our first block is ~65 min — then we’ll take a 20 min intermission and finish strong with another ~70 min block!

Can’t wait to gather for all these incredible films. 🧡
