💜 Our legacy began in 1989. Your legacy can help carry the torch forward.

Since 1989, Compassion House has been here for pregnant and parenting girls and their babies. A legacy gift is one way you can help ensure that years from now, when another girl needs a safe place to call home, we’re still here to open the door.

Legacy giving can be as simple as including Compassion House in your will or estate plan. You might leave a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or name Compassion House as a beneficiary of an eligible account. Legacy gifts can also include assets such as investments or real estate, subject to our gift acceptance policies.

Talk with your attorney or financial advisor about the options that are right for you.

You can provide for the people you love and leave a lasting impact on the generations that come after you. 💜

One of my favorite things about walking into Compassion House each morning is seeing what the girls have written on the little whiteboard on our refrigerator.

They’ve started leaving encouraging messages for one another, and I love seeing the words they choose.

It’s a simple thing, but it’s a beautiful reminder that Compassion House is more than a place to live. It’s a home where we’re learning to encourage one another, build each other up, and recognize our own worth.

And sometimes, the girls are the ones reminding all of us of what’s important. 💜

Stress relief comes in all shapes and sizes!

At Compassion House, one of the important life skills we help our residents develop is learning healthy ways to manage stress. Sometimes that means talking things through, taking a walk, or finding an activity that brings a little peace and joy.

Today, Ty knew exactly what she needed to feel better—mowing the grass! And judging by that smile, we’d say it’s working!

We love seeing our girls discover what helps them feel their best, even when it’s something as simple as hopping on a lawn mower! 💜

Tonya has stepped up in so many ways and is such a valuable part of the Compassion House team. Her compassion and genuine care for our residents and their children make such a difference. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and is truly a joy to work with!

A day of fun at the Amazeum!

A huge thank you to the Scott Family Amazeum for generously donating tickets for our residents and their children!

Our young moms and little ones had an amazing time exploring, playing, learning, and making memories together!

Experiences like these mean so much to the families we serve. We're grateful for community partners who help us create opportunities for our residents to enjoy time together and simply have fun.

Did you know you can give directly from your IRA? If you’re 70½ or older, you may be able to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA.

Instead of withdrawing the money yourself and then making a donation, ask your IRA custodian to send the gift directly to Compassion House. The amount of a qualifying QCD is generally not included in your taxable income.

And if you’re already required to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), a QCD may count toward that requirement. Please consult your financial or tax advisor regarding your individual circumstances.

Your retirement savings helped prepare for your future. They can also help create a brighter future for the girls and babies who call Compassion House home. 💜

A fresh coat of paint can make such a difference!

Last Saturday, an amazing group from SOCO Church spent the day at Compassion House painting our downstairs, moving furniture, and helping us get organized. Our home feels so fresh, clean, and welcoming!

But what made their time here even more special was that before painting, they prayed over our home and wrote Scripture on the walls. What a beautiful reminder that this home is covered in prayer!

Little things like fresh paint make such a big difference in creating a place where the young mothers and babies we welcome feel safe, loved, and at home.

Thank you, SOCO Church, for investing your time and hearts into making Compassion House a home! 💜
