It's Pumpkin Season! 🎃
Can you help?

We are excited that fall is finally here and are planning a pumpkin project with our kiddos at EOA Children's House. We are hoping to get enough pumpkins donated to do a pumpkin patch on the playground, letting each child select their own personal pumpkin to decorate and take home. We will also use a larger pumpkin in each class to cut open to show and feel the gooey insides, slimy seeds, and to learn all about pumpkins. Sensory learning is important for our littles as it engages multiple senses, accelerates information retention, and builds the foundational skills children need for cognitive, physical, and emotional development.

Pumpkin Sponsorship Opportunities:
$6 - provides 1 child with a pumpkin and supplies
$40 - sponsors a classroom of pumpkins and supplies
$225 - sponsors pumpkins and supplies for an entire center

🐶 A Special Visit from Tucker🐾

Our Pat Walker Center had a special visit this week from Tucker! Ms. Allie brought her golden retriever to school to help us explore our “Pets” theme. The children watched Tucker sit, shake, and show off some of his other tricks. They also had a chance to pet him—and Tucker especially loved the tummy rubs from our kiddos! 💛

It was a fun opportunity to practice using gentle hands and learn about showing kindness to our pets. Thank you, Tucker, for visiting us at Pat Walker! 🐕

🎰♠️ We hit the JACKPOT with community support! 🎲♥️

Last weekend, The C.A.R.E. Initiative at Saatchi X rolled out the fun with casino games and a poker tournament at its annual Las Faygas Casino Night!

The biggest winners of the night? Our community! ❤️ Proceeds support several local nonprofits, including EOA Children's House.

A huge THANK YOU to The C.A.R.E. Initiative and everyone who played, dealt, bet, and joined in the fun.🎰✨

Our Pat Walker Center added scents to three paint colors for a creative art project. 🎨

The three scents were:
🍋 Lemon
💜 Lavender
🌿 Peppermint

The children had the opportunity to paint while exploring the different smells. It was a fun way to combine art and sensory learning, and the kids had a great time discovering how each paint smelled!
