We’re excited to share our recent interview with KNWA/FOX24 highlighting Kidz N Cameras and our 2026 Youth Photography Contest! 📸

Kidz N Cameras was created to give young people opportunities to express themselves, tell their stories, and explore the world around them through photography. This contest is another way we’re putting cameras into the hands of youth and giving them a platform to share what they see through their own lens.

A huge thank you to KNWA/FOX24 for taking the time to share our mission and help us spread the word!

BIG NEWS for Kidz N Cameras! 📸

We’re excited to share that Kidz N Cameras has been selected as a 2026 CACHE Take Action grant recipient!

This $5,000 grant will allow us to work with ARK Impact Collective to strengthen the foundation of our organization through strategic fundraising, board development, and organizational capacity building.

Since starting Kidz N Cameras in 2023, we’ve continued to grow and create opportunities for young people across Northwest Arkansas to experience photography, express themselves, and tell their stories.

Now we’re investing in what happens behind the scenes so we can make sure this work continues for years to come.

This support will help us build stronger fundraising and donor strategies, strengthen our board, improve our organizational systems, and position Kidz N Cameras to serve even more youth in the future.

We’re building something that lasts. ❤️📸

Thank you CACHE and The Medium — A Place to Create for investing in Kidz N Cameras and the future of arts and culture in Northwest Arkansas!

At Kidz N Cameras, we believe every young person has a unique story worth telling.

In this clip, Avery shares how she learned to stop comparing herself to other photographers and instead use their work as inspiration to grow, discover her own style, and tell stories through her own perspective.

That's what our mission is all about—helping young people build confidence, find their creative voice, and express themselves through photography.

🎙️ Our newest Kidz N Cameras Podcast episode featuring Avery is out now. Watch the full conversation and be inspired by her journey.

Today, our Kidz N Cameras Summer Camp photographers presented their final projects and shared the stories behind their images. 📸

Over the past four days, these young creatives learned camera fundamentals, composition, manual mode, and most importantly—how to use photography as a tool for storytelling and self-expression.

Each project was more than a collection of photos. It was their perspective, their voice, and their way of showing us what community means to them.

We're incredibly proud of their growth, creativity, and courage to share their work.

The future is bright, and these young photographers are just getting started.
