The mom we served this week absolutely beamed when we asked what brings her joy. Her answer came without hesitation: “Spending time with my kids.” ❤️ It was clear that her children are the center of her universe.
The past few years haven’t been easy. As a hardworking nurse, she experienced overwhelming grief after losing her mother, and her family eventually faced homelessness. Recently, she secured housing, with her children helping her choose their new home—a hopeful fresh start for them all. 🏡
When we spoke with her on Monday, the family had little more than air mattresses. Her son, a talented artist, had one special wish: a desk for his room. Seeing the joy on his face when he discovered his new desk, stocked with art supplies and ready to inspire his creativity, was an especially meaningful moment. 🎨
