That’s a wrap on MCWT’s 2026 Executive Connection Summit.

The energy in the room was undeniable. Leaders, innovators and changemakers came together to talk about what is next, not just in technology but in how we lead, connect and create opportunity.

A few standout callouts from the day:

▪️ Bet on yourself.

▪️ Take advantage of the opportunity to network today. That is how opportunities happen.

▪️ Be curious.

▪️ Change how we work.

▪️ Push the limits.

▪️ AI should feel like the fabric of what you are doing.

▪️ Intent based engineering is changing the conversation.

ECS 2026 was a reminder that transformation is not something happening in the distance. It is happening right now, through the people willing to ask better questions, build stronger connections and move forward with purpose.

Thank you to our speakers, sponsors, attendees and MCWT community for making this day so impactful.

Forward Together.

Last night was one for the books. 🧡

MCWT awarded more than $125,000 in scholarships for the 2026–27 academic year, welcoming a remarkable new class of young women into the MCWT community.

More than 75% of this year's scholars are first-time recipients — a whole new group of students stepping into a network that will be there for them long after the check is cashed.

As Christine Shook reminded everyone last night:
"This is about much more than the scholarship itself. It's about joining a community that will be here for you."

That community shows up in real ways — a mentor matched to every scholar, free MCWT student membership through the school term, a network of women deeply invested in MCWT and in each scholar's journey, and a platform for these young women to bring their unique talents and interests to the mission.

Every scholarship awarded is a step toward making Michigan the #1 state for women in tech. To our donors, mentors, scholarship committee, and the entire MCWT community — thank you for opening the door wider this year, we are so grateful.

Welcome to the 2026–27 class of MCWT scholars. We can't wait to see what you do next.

We are honored to welcome . Erica Klampfl to the 2026 Executive Connection Summit stage.

As Executive Director of Industrial System AI and Analytics at Ford Motor Company, Erica leads the team transforming how one of the world's most iconic manufacturers uses AI to strengthen vehicle quality, supply chain resilience, and material cost performance.

Her perspective is shaped by 25 years at Ford — including 18 months as interim Chief Data and Analytics Officer, where she led a 2,000+ person AI, analytics, data, and platform engineering organization through Ford's migration to Google Cloud, enterprise adoption of generative AI, and the build-out of AI-powered solutions across Marketing, Sales, and the Industrial System.

Dr. Klampfl holds a PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Rice University. She is an INFORMS Fellow and has been recognized on Automotive News' 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry (2025), the DataIQ 100 US (2025), and CDO Magazine's Data Leaders 100. Beyond Ford, she is a sought-after keynote at CES, Mobile World Congress, and NAIAS — and a longtime champion of women in math and computer science through Girls Who Code, Grace Hopper, and the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications.

Join us on June 3 at Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi to hear how Erica is leading transformation at scale — and what it takes to deploy AI with purpose across a global enterprise.

Forward Together: Connect. Transform. Accelerate.

Deadline for registration is May 27. Register now!

This summer, MCWT is proud to host Camp Infinity — an inspiring program that empowers girls to explore the exciting world of technology through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world experiences.

Camp Infinity is more than just a summer camp. It’s an opportunity to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help shape the next generation of women leaders in STEM.

To make this experience possible, we’re looking for community support:

Volunteers – Help mentor, guide activities, and inspire students as they discover new possibilities in technology. Take a look at our volunteer opportunities here: https://mcwt.app.neoncrm.com/forms/volunteer

Sponsors – Your support helps us provide resources, programming, and opportunities that make Camp Infinity accessible and impactful for every participant.

When we invest in young women today, we invest in a stronger, more innovative future for all.

If you or your organization would like to get involved and support this incredible mission, we’d love to connect. Email [email protected].

We’re proud to spotlight Julia Tauro, an inspiring MCWT Scholar Award recipient who will be joining us as a speaker at the Executive Connection Summit.
Julia’s journey with MCWT began in 2015 as a Camp Infinity participant and has continued through the past four years as an MCWT Scholar. This spring, she graduates from the University of Michigan with a BSE in Computer Science and a minor in Business.

Her impressive accomplishments include internships with Ford, Google, and Meta, and after graduation, she’ll begin her career as a Software Engineer at Meta in Menlo Park, CA.

Beyond academics and internships, Julia has demonstrated exceptional leadership as the founder of Innovation for Impact and as Technical Director of the Michigan Pops Orchestra.

Julia’s story is a powerful example of what’s possible when talent, determination, and opportunity come together. We’re excited to hear her insights at the Executive Connection Summit and celebrate all she has achieved as part of the MCWT community.

Join us in congratulating Julia on this incredible milestone and wishing her continued success in this next chapter.

What does one evening of generosity actually build?
A stronger pipeline of women in Michigan technology — measured not in moments, but in girls and women whose paths just got clearer.

MCWT's Vino Voyage brought a remarkable community together at Little Caesars headquarters in Detroit for an evening of wine, connection, and shared purpose. Six tasting stations, a craft bar, a silent auction, and a room full of people who believe Michigan can be the No. 1 state for women in technology.

But the real story is what the night makes possible. At MCWT, $5,000 funds a Camp Infinity camp where girls discover that technology belongs to them. $3,500 opens the door to a scholarship for a woman pursuing a technology degree — paired with a mentor who walks the journey with her. The support raised at Vino Voyage translates into roughly six Camp Infinity camps and ten scholarships — with more still fueling K-12 classroom programs and mentorship across the state.

One of those scholarship journeys came to life on stage. MCWT scholar, Ritika Parikh, shared her story — a reminder that behind every number is a person, and behind every person is a community that showed up for her.

To our sponsors, THANK YOU for making this evening possible: Little Caesars, P.I.E. Management, and Sumologic (our Grand Reserve and venue sponsors), AHEAD, Zscaler, NetApp, Rapid7, Semperis, — along with our spirits partners Shankar, Stumblebum, and Gypsy Vodka. Your investment doesn't end when the last glass is poured. It shows up in a camp classroom, a tuition bill, and a mentor's calendar — for years to come.

Since 2002, MCWT has awarded 452 scholarships, and Camp Infinity has reached nearly 3,000 girls. Thursday night, that legacy grew.

This is what it looks like to inspire and grow women in technology. Together.
