The Pinecrest Athletic Club (PAC) supports all Pinecrest High School athletic teams and over 1,000 student-athletes by funding facility improvements, equipment upgrades, and team needs while fostering school spirit and promoting excellence in athletics. Through our “Back the PAC” events, we have raised over $650,000! To date some of our completed projects have been:
Install Turf Stadium Field (
under construction)
The women's weight room in the gym (Title IX compliance)
The women's locker room (Title IX compliance)
Pay for Hudl annually for all sports teams at Pinecrest
Painting of the gymnasium

Paid for the installation of new scoreboards in John H Moore Gymnasium, Barbara Foxx Auxiliary Gym, John Williams Athletic Complex, and Softball Field

Installed a new ice machine in the training room to better serve our injured athletes
Purchased Fogger machine to combat MRSA and staff infections for weight rooms and locker rooms
Purchased an AFib machine for cross country/track
Storage units on the practice fields

Well and irrigation upgrades to the practice fields
Annual maintenance of the practice fields so that it stays safe for our athletes
Annual maintenance of the stadium field so that it stays safe for our athletes
Funding of bus transportation for teams that travel during playoffs
Payments to referees during COVID because of a budget shortfall in the general athletic fund
Payments to the athletic department to help with transportation costs
We also fund two annual scholarships to graduating student-athletes. None of the above would be possible without the tireless work of parent volunteers and the support of Pinecrest administration and coaches. The volunteers spend hundreds of hours each year working on the “Back the PAC” event, working at the school on projects, and in meetings with vendors and school officials. It is not an exaggeration to say that many if not all of the above projects would not have been completed without the PAC funds or volunteers.
