🤍🐇 Meet White Rabbit 🐇🤍

White Rabbit is a 6-month-old little prince who is absolutely convinced he deserves to be adored—and honestly, he’s right. 👑

This sweet boy’s favorite place in the world is in your arms. He loves being carried around like royalty and insists on being held for his naps. If you’re not already cuddling him, don’t worry—he’ll happily climb into your lap or jump into your arms to remind you where he belongs. 💛

White Rabbit is playful, affectionate, and full of personality. He loves his toys, enjoys meeting new people, and follows his humans everywhere like a tiny shadow. He gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and kids, making him an easy fit for many different families.

We also want to be transparent about his medical history. White Rabbit recently received a positive FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test result. Because he is still very young, this may be a false positive caused by antibodies passed from his mother. His FIV status remains uncertain and will need to be re-evaluated as he gets older.

Until more definitive testing can be performed, we recommend placement in a home without other cats or with cats that are already FIV-positive. Other than this unknown, White Rabbit is thriving—he is happy, playful, healthy, and doing everything a normal kitten should be doing. 🐾

What breaks our hearts is that White Rabbit has spent his entire life in rescue. Every single day of his kittenhood has been spent waiting for a family to choose him. While other kittens have come and gone, White Rabbit continues to be overlooked because of a diagnosis that isn’t even confirmed.

The reality is that nobody knows whether he is truly FIV-positive. Right now, all we know is that he’s a happy, healthy, affectionate kitten who desperately wants a family of his own.

Please don’t let this uncertainty discourage you from giving him a chance. White Rabbit is an absolute snuggle bug with so much love to give, and he deserves the opportunity to grow up surrounded by a family who adores him as much as he adores them. 🤍

We know we just posted about taking in a large group of new animals… but we’re back again with even more intakes. 💔

Animal rescue is an emotional roller coaster. One minute you’re celebrating a happy ending, and the next you’re staring into the eyes of an animal who has clearly been failed by the people who were supposed to love them.

It’s heartbreaking to witness the physical condition many animals arrive in—just look at Carlos’s skin. 🥺 But to be honest, the emotional wounds are often the hardest part. The fear, the confusion, the uncertainty… the look in their eyes when they don’t know if they’re safe yet.

A large part of our mission is promising to be there for every animal who enters our care—not just for the medical treatment, but for the healing that can’t be measured on a vet bill. We are committed to showing up for them every day as they learn to trust, recover, and rediscover who they are.

To our incredible MFP family: thank you for always showing up when we need you most. Because of your support, we’re able to keep saying “yes” to animals who have nowhere else to go.

The fact that kitten season… is just getting started. 😅😅😅

And honestly, that’s the hardest part.

We want to say yes to every litter, every orphan, and every kitten who needs help. But the reality is that rescue is expensive, and we can only save as many kittens as we can afford to care for.

Nearly every kitten that comes into our care needs veterinary treatment of some kind. Most arrive with worms, upper respiratory infections, eye infections, fleas, malnutrition, or other medical concerns. Many need medicated food, medications, vaccines, and eventually spay/neuter surgery before they’re ready for adoption. Just to give you an idea, it costs roughly $300 to spay or neuter a single kitten.

The costs add up quickly.

We know we sound like a broken record, but we’re asking our community for help so we can continue saying “yes” when the next call comes in. We never want finances to be the reason a kitten doesn’t get the chance they deserve.

Meet CHULO! — Red’s equally adorable brother! (Yes, real brother! They came from the same hoarding house)❤️

Poor Chulo has been feeling a little left out lately. While everyone has been swooning over Red’s goofy grin, nobody has been talking about CHULO’s smile. And honestly? We think that’s a crime.

Just look at that face! 😍

Chulo is every bit as charming, lovable, and handsome as his brother, Red. He’s got the same irresistible smile, the same sweet personality, and the same ability to make you laugh just by looking at him. Yet somehow, he’s been patiently waiting on the sidelines while Red is in the spotlight and has people lining up to love him. :/

💔 Our sweet Sesame 💔

Sesame came to us from one of the worst hoarding situations we’ve ever seen — over 65 chihuahuas living under one roof in conditions no dog should ever have to endure. She spent her life knowing neglect instead of love, fear instead of comfort.

A few months ago, we thought her story had finally gotten its happy ending.

We celebrated when she was adopted. We truly believed we had found her perfect forever home — a place where she could finally relax, be spoiled rotten, feel safe, and simply be home.

Today, that family brought Sesame back to us with little to no explanation and surrendered her back to our rescue.

And our hearts are shattered for her.

Sesame is one of the gentlest, sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Right now she’s scared, confused, and trying to understand what she did wrong.

The answer is absolutely nothing.

She survived a lifetime of neglect. She learned to trust again. She opened her heart. She thought she was finally home.

And now she’s been abandoned all over again.

We can’t change what happened today, but we can make her a promise: We will not let you down again, Sesame.

Your next home will be your forever home. The family who adopts you will understand the commitment they are making and love you for the rest of your life, exactly as you deserve.

For the happy endings.

There is truly nothing like watching a once scared, broken, and fragile rescue blossom after finding their forever home. Seeing them go from unsure and afraid to confident, loved, and thriving is the reason we keep going through the hard days.

Every late-night rescue, every vet visit, every foster home, every fundraiser, every tear shed—it all becomes worth it when we get to witness moments like these.

The feeling of knowing an animal who once had nowhere to go is now safe, cherished, and exactly where they belong is impossible to put into words.

This is why we do it. For the second chances. For the transformations. For the happy endings. 🐾❤️

💔 Daisy Mae Needs Your Help 💔

Sweet Daisy Mae has been through so much, and now she’s facing something that causes her pain every single day — severe dental disease.

Her foster mom has been giving her pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and green beans as treats because Daisy’s teeth are in such bad shape. Recently, she was given a soft treat and couldn’t even chew it. 😔 Despite the pain, her appetite is still amazing and she eagerly devours every meal, but no dog should have to live with this level of discomfort.

Her teeth are brown, several appear to be partially broken, and she urgently needs a dental procedure to remove the damaged teeth and finally give her some relief.

Dental surgeries are incredibly expensive, especially for senior dogs like Daisy Mae, but we are committed to giving her the comfort and quality of life she deserves. The heartbreaking reality is that we cannot relieve her pain without your help.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings Daisy one step closer to a pain-free life. Please consider donating toward her dental care and sharing her story.

You guys… we feel awful. 😭

In our post the other day about all of the pups we rescued from the hoarding case, we somehow forgot to include Ranger. And now we’re pretty sure he feels left out. 🥺

So please allow us to properly introduce this tiny ball of fluff. ❤️

Ranger is absolute perfection. He’s sweet, adorable, full of personality, and has quickly stolen the hearts of everyone he’s met. Despite the difficult start he had in life, he’s learning what it means to be loved, spoiled, and treated like the little prince he is.

Just look at that face. How could you not fall in love?! 😍🐾

💔 URGENT BIG DOG FOSTER OPEN HOUSE 💔

When we host foster open houses for little dogs (like the recent Chihuahua hoarding case), people come. But when it comes to the bigger dogs, no one ever shows up for them.😔

Right now, Freya, Nina, Pam, Brittany, Jeanette, Mitchell, and Momma Melody + her 4 babies all need foster homes. 🐾

They didn’t choose to be bigger. They just want what every dog wants—a soft bed, a safe place to land, and someone to love them, even if it’s just temporary. ❤️ It’s so much better than a cold, small, scary cage with barking dogs and chaos around them.

Fostering saves lives, and we provide everything you need: food, supplies, medical care, and support.

Please don’t let their size be the reason they spend another day waiting. Come meet them tomorrow and give one of these deserving dogs a chance. 🏡🐶
