Great relationships don't happen by accident. They're built with intention!

Last week, we welcomed Chamber members for Return on Relationships, an engaging conversation led by Clint Babcock of Sandler about making meaningful connections and approaching relationships with greater purpose.

Relationships are truly the heartbeat of the Tampa Bay Chamber. They're what bring our community together, open doors to new opportunities, and make being part of this network so special. 💙

But not every relationship looks the same, and that's what makes them valuable! Whether a connection leads to a new business opportunity, a trusted mentor, a lasting friendship, or simply a fresh perspective, being intentional about the relationships we build can make a meaningful difference in our personal and professional lives. And sometimes, the best connections enrich both!

We're less than a month away from rolling out the red carpet for the 46th Annual Small Business of the Year Awards, presented by TD Bank! ✨

For more than four decades, this Chamber tradition has brought our business community together to recognize the entrepreneurs and small businesses making a lasting impact across Tampa Bay.

On November 5, we'll come together for an evening filled with great food, entertainment, networking and, of course, the exciting moment when we reveal our 2026 Small Business of the Year Award winners! 🥂

What better way to kick off October than Fall Fest at ZooTampa at Lowry Park ? 🎃

Leadership Tampa Alumni and their families spent the afternoon together this weekend enjoying great food and drinks, entertainment and the opening weekend of Creatures of the Night, Tampa Bay’s #1 Halloween attraction! 🐾

There were plenty of memorable moments along the way—including getting up close with Ping, a three-banded armadillo!

Thank you to our friends at ZooTampa at Lowry Park for hosting us and making the afternoon so special for our LTA alumni and their families! 💙

Nominations are closing soon for the 2026 LTA Parke Wright III Leadership Award, recognizing a Leadership Tampa alumnus who has demonstrated leadership above and beyond their professional role and made a significant difference in our community.

Pictured here is 2025 recipient Yvette Segura, alongside John Parke Wright IV, and now it’s time to recognize another member of the LTA community whose leadership and service are making an impact across Tampa Bay.

Building a strong business starts with building a strong team.

Last Friday, our TBBA Cohort ’27 came together for Building the Team: Talent, Culture & Organizational Growth, a session focused on one of every organization’s most important assets—its people.

Courtney Sustr, Roxana Colorado, Dr. Jessica Chung and Dr. Tyler Hodges shared their expertise on finding the right talent, setting employees up for success and intentionally building a strong organizational culture as a business grows.

The conversation also explored the importance of staying connected to the “why” behind your business and how vulnerability, honesty and transparency from leadership can help create a culture where people can thrive.

🎓 The Collegiate Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2027 is officially underway!

Last Friday, our newest cohort kicked off its CLTB experience with a full day focused on learning, connection and preparing for the year ahead. Students got to know their classmates, learned more about the Chamber and the program, explored the nonprofit class project they'll complete together, connected with their Emerging Leaders mentors and wrapped up the day with a session on professional presence and headshots. 📸

Thank you to Class Chair Amanda Uliano, everyone who helped make the first program day possible, and the Bellini Foundation and Riley Education Foundation for their continued support of Collegiate Leadership Tampa Bay!
