Fall creativity was in full swing at SAIL this weekend! 🍂

Our kids turned yarn, LEGO bricks and plenty of imagination into their own fall-inspired creations. From colorful pumpkins and seasonal designs to pieces that were completely their own, each activity gave them the chance to slow down, get creative and proudly show off what they made.

That’s what SAIL Saturdays are all about: creating a space where kids can explore new activities and express themselves 💛

Oncology Night gave our families a reason to slow down, dig into some Chick-fil-A and put a creative spin on gratitude 🥧

Parents joined Leanne Vaughan, LMHC, of Boundless Hope Counseling for a meaningful conversation about navigating the holidays and what gratitude can look like while facing a child’s cancer diagnosis.

Our CCC kids put those conversations into art with Art Therapist Pam, LMHC, creating their own “pies of gratitude.” Parents also took home a Family Gratitude Journal to continue reflecting together at home.

A huge thank you to Chick-fil-A, Dustin Lachance and the Beyond the Sandwich Foundation for generously providing our family meal and helping make this Oncology Night possible! 💛

Ever wonder what a night at CCC actually looks like? ⏰

From the minute families walk in to the final “see you next time!”, every timeslot is filled with something different - dinner, activities, laughs, connection (in this case a visit from Gronk 😉 ) and plenty of moments you can’t really plan for.

Program nights are where our families get to exhale a little, our kids get to just be kids, and everyone gets to spend time with peoble who truly get it.

This week, we celebrated more than a ribbon cutting. We celebrated a space restored and a community that showed up for our families💙

For 50 years, the Children’s Cancer Center has been a place where kids can simply be kids and families can find support, connection, and a second home beyond the hospital.

What began as a renovation became a full restoration after Hurricane Milton flooded our Center. Our community helped us rebuild and restore this special place. To everyone who donated, partnered, rebuilt, and celebrated with us this week, thank you for helping us open the doors to this next chapter💛

Gronk came ready to play and our kids matched his energy 🏈

Safe to say this was not your average SOAR & Oncology Night. Rob Gronkowski brought the energy, the laughs and a whole lot of fun for our kids and families making an already special night one we won’t forget anytime soon.

Meet the horses, ask questions, get creative, and make some fall-inspired art! 🎨🍂💛

Tampa Police Department Mounted Patrol joined our SAIL program and brought their horses along for an afternoon of learning and connection. The kids got to meet the horses up close, learn about their important role in our community, and discover how animals can be part of therapeutic experiences 🐎

Then, it was time to create! Our friends at Project Sunshine brought crafts for the kids to enjoy, followed by a hands-on fall art project led by our CCC Art Therapist✨

From four-legged friends to paint, crafts, and plenty of imagination, it was a day full of new experiences and lots of smiles🤗
