Many thanks to all who came out to the Red Barn for our June First Friday Feast! The Sheriff Santa Program was our beneficiary and we also had the privilege of honoring 2 First Responders. Walter Munk from the York Creek Volunteer Fire Department and Travis Caddell from the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Department. We would also like to thank all of the volunteers who showed up to help cook, serve and assist with numerous tasks. Your help was invaluable!

This morning we hosted our Geronimo Lions John Nash Memorial Scholarship breakfast. Thanks to our community and your support of our annual raffle, we handed out 12 $1000 scholarships!

We invited the 12 recipients and their families for breakfast and fellowship. It was wonderful to hear all of the recipients plans for the future.❤️

Congratulations to the class of 2026!

On a rainy Friday, May 1, the Geronimo Lions First Friday Feast was an active event! Volunteers from the Navarro Education Foundation helped serve and they were presented with a $500 check as the beneficiary for May. Guests were entertained by Madeline Abrameit while enjoying their meal and the company of friends. Michael Castro of the Geronimo Fire Department received the First Responder Award and received a laser engraved wooden plaque created by Geronimo Lion Mike Diaz. Then, Dr. Savannah Clark and her mother, Tracy Bittner culminated the evening with the annual John Nash Scholarship raffle drawing.

For the March 2026 First Friday Feast, Geronimo Lions partnered with GRMC (Guadalupe Regional Medical Center) and several family and friends of both organizations who volunteered to help serve and cook for a final count of 327 guests. Guests listened to music by the Brushy Creek Boys while enjoying good food and fellowship. Matthew Tanksley from the Guadalupe County Fire Rescue was the First Responder Honoree.
