To ADOPT, RESCUE, or FOSTER a dog:
There is NO adoption fee at Guadalupe County Animal Control! BUT if you are not a rescue, then you have to PREPAY for a SPAY/NEUTER and rabies shot and bring proof that those procedures will get done!!! (Example: Receipt for the procedures.) Rescue Organizations PAY NO FEE! Rescues must PM this page and we will coordinate communications with GCAC and pickup. If you want to HELP besides adopting or rescuing, we need people to TRANSPORT to rescues, WALK dogs, take dogs to VET, etc. please PM our page.
