Lions Omar, Mark and Richard travelled to Gonzalez to participate in the District 2-S5 Cabinet Meeting today. They picked up a number of good ideas and helpful tips on how to make our club even better. In addition, Mark gave a presentation on how IT is increasingly becoming a valuable (but sometimes scary!) tool for clubs and Lions.

Just four weeks after our last ramp project, we completed number 23 for Texas Ramp Project. Another KidSight screening is in the books. We saw 76 young scholars today at Rodriguez Elementary, and that resulted in 19 referrals for further testing. Another school year beginning means more KidSight vision screenings by the Seguin Sunrise Lions. We saw 63 kindergarten students at Koennecke Elementary School today and about a dozen were provided referrals for further vision exams.
