We are so excited to welcome back the sixth-grade students, along with Ms. Butler and Mr. Rockwell from St. Vincent de Paul School, for another week of Camp GEORGE!

These two teachers bring so much fun, passion, and enthusiasm to camp, and we're thrilled to have them back for another five-day overnight Outdoor School experience in May 2027.

We canโ€™t wait to work with their students once again and make another week of Camp GEORGE unforgettable for everyone!

It's hard to believe it's been one year since our very first in-person fundraiser at Chez Phinney Wine Bar in Seattle, where we announced our plans for our inaugural week of Outdoor School.

Since then, our dream became a reality, and in May we welcomed our first students to Camp GEORGE for an unforgettable week outdoors.

We are especially grateful to our dear friends at Chez Phinney for supporting us from the very beginning and reminding us why it matters - now more than ever - to support small, local businesses that show up for their communities!

51 participants, including 39 sixth-grade students, joined for it's inaugural week this summer, for a 5-day overnight week of Outdoor School! Students became field scientists as they explored the beautiful Pacific Northwest and participated in exciting hands-on learning and team building. Camp GEORGE combines social and emotional learning with good old fashioned camp fun to teach the students to show up as the best versions of themselves. Our amazing teachers make Camp GEORGE so much fun! They work incredibly hard, year-round, to prepare their students and families for overnight Outdoor School. And they understand the value in bringing their classroom outdoors.

Mr. Rockwell at St. Vincent de Paul School is just one example of what it means to be a loving and exceptional educator. He brought so much excitement, passion, dedication, laughter, and joy to our camp week this past May.

Camp GEORGE is where students discover self-confidence and begin to see themselves differently.

Teachers continue to see these outcomes long after students return to the classroom.
