The Camp GEORGE team were ๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฑ๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž and ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐œ๐ž๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฆ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ. Students were continually prepared and set up for success, ๐ฌ๐š๐Ÿ๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ, and everyone was held to the same standard.

Bringing students from St. Vincent de Paul and St. Frances Cabrini schools together has been a long-standing Outdoor School tradition for many years.

Camp GEORGE ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฅ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐›๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ that bring our Outdoor School community together. Campers and mentors engage in friendly cabin competitions, share their ideas to reduce their ecological footprint, decorate every single wall space imaginable, and so much more!

Even our ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ƒ๐ž๐š๐œ๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐’๐ญ. ๐•๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ž ๐๐š๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ jumped right in and showed everyone his secret talent: A perfect headstand. Then, our teachers decided to compete!

This past week at Camp GEORGE was also ๐“๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐€๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐–๐ž๐ž๐ค, and we celebrated our phenomenal educators with posters, presentations, 'Green Notes,' and even a mid-week Starbucks surprise.

At Camp GEORGE, we work hard, play hard, and grow together.

๐ŸŒฒ When we say attending overnight Outdoor School in the sixth grade is a decades-long tradition for St. Vincent de Paul School and St. Frances Cabrini School, we mean it!
