SHADOW DANCE FLOOR MEETUP:
Changing My Dance Changes Your Dance
with Rev. Liz Mirante
Sometimes we get so focused on our individual healing we forget we’re not here alone. We meet on the dance floor with everyone else’s unhealed shadow, and all of us are affected. Learn how to move with one another to reveal, heal, and integrate our shadow, not just for ourselves, but for our spiritual community and the world.

THE SHADOW TANGO: WHO'S LEADING?
From Laura McLeod, CSL Ballard Core Council President

Last Sunday, October 11, Practitioner Cindy Clay, RScP, started her talk with Snow White’s Queen, who didn’t get curious when her mirror told her the truth. Instead, she blamed the mirror. Most of us do the same thing, especially with the people closest to us, when a small moment snaps us back to an old hurt.

Cindy offered three new steps for the shadow tango: notice, get curious, and talk to what’s coming up. This week’s blog has more on those steps, a little about Argentine tango, and why our shadow can come to the dance but doesn’t get to lead.

THE SHADOW TANGO:
WHEN SOMEONE STEPS ON YOUR TOES
With Practitioner Cindy Clay, RScP

Relationships can bring out the very best in us—and sometimes a version of ourselves we hardly recognize. When someone steps on our toes, we can fall into familiar patterns of defensiveness, judgment, withdrawal, or blame, allowing our unconscious reactions to lead the dance. Together, we’ll explore how to recognize those patterns, change the steps, and create a different dance—one grounded in awareness, authenticity, and choice.

DANCING WITH OUR SHADOWS: MONEY GHOSTS
From Laura McLeod, CSL Ballard Core Council President
https://www.cslballard.org/blog
Most of us have beliefs about money that we picked up as kids, long before we could question them. Things like I'm not worthy, I don't deserve it, or I'm not enough. Last Sunday, October 4, Rev. Michael Auch opened our October theme, Dances with Shadows, by sharing his own and where they came from. These old beliefs don't disappear, but we can learn to recognize them faster and choose differently. He shared a few ways to start changing those beliefs, including a morning practice you can try now.

THE MONEY MONSTER MASH: SMASH YOUR MONEY SHADOW
With Rev. Michael Auch

Money shadows are the emotional and energetic imprints left by experiences, beliefs, and family patterns tied to money. Your shadow includes all the financial habits, scarcity mindsets, or anxieties you push away and refuse to look at.

Shadow work brings fears and habits into the light so money stops being a source of stress and simply becomes a part of life's natural dance.

PRACTICE WHAT YOU AFFIRM
From Laura McLeod, CSL Ballard Core Council President
https://www.cslballard.org/blog
Last Sunday, September 27, Rev. Marilyn had us tense our shoulders, clench our fists, and say "I am at peace." (Yeah, right...) Her talk was about bringing our lives into line with what we affirm, and about how the body often knows the truth before we're ready to admit it. As one chiropractor once told her, "Pain is your friend." This week's post explores what that means for us, and includes a Core Council update.
