If you haven’t submitted your pet's headshot for the 2027 WAMAL Calendar Contest yet, consider this your official final warning. The window officially slams shut this Sunday, June 14th!

We want this to be our most inclusive calendar yet, which is why it's open to ALL pets across WA and OR. But we need some reinforcements! Right now, we only have one cat entered and a serious shortage of non-northern breeds. Let's change that before the weekend hits!

Entry fee: $25 donation per pet (100% benefits WAMAL).

• Next step: Voting kicks off on June 21st. Once you're registered, you'll get a free, personalized voting asset from Holly Cook Photography so you can launch your campaign the second the polls open.

Submissions for the WAMAL 2027 Calendar Contest close this Sunday, June 14th—and the playing field is wide open!

We are calling ALL pets in Washington and Oregon, but right now, the northern breeds are dominating the list. We only have one single cat entered so far! Whether you have a feline king, a tiny pup, a horse, or a goat, we want them in this calendar.

What you need to know right now:

When we say ALL PETS in Washington and Oregon are welcome, we truly mean it! Right now, we currently only have one cat entered, and very few non-northern breeds. Calling all doodles, chihuahuas, tabbies, and farm friends—where you at?!

Grizzly is a big, bouncy bundle of joy with the heart of a puppy and the presence of a gentle giant. He loves people, gets along with most dogs, and greets everyone like they’re his new best friend 🐶✨

Submissions are open for WAMAL's 2027 calendar contest!
