“Thank you so much to Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington! We had an unforgettable trip seeing Hunter so happy and celebrated! He has overcome a lot and has been incredibly resilient through his medical journey. Our week at Disney World and Give Kids the World gave him the opportunity to enjoy being a kid and all his favorite things. It was the trip of his dreams. Our family felt so cared for and had the time of our lives,” shared wish mom, Kathleen. 💙

⭐ WISH GRANTED! ⭐ Marbella’s wish for a shopping spree wasn't just about walking away with new things, it was about walking into a new chapter with confidence.

For the first time, Marbella was given the freedom to choose exactly what she wanted—and that sense of independence made every moment even more meaningful. With each stop, her excitement grew, and her smile said it all.

Denise, Marbella’s dedicated volunteer, shared what makes being part of a shopping spree wish so special: "Watching Marbella shop for her wish was a very emotional day for the whole family. Her smile lit up the room when she modeled all her new clothing for us. A day we will cherish forever."

What happens when Make-A-Wish staff mixes work with play? You get some fabulous outcomes coming out of our All-Staff Retreat! ⭐

Last month, our entire staff gathered together for three meaningful days where we learned, connected and grew through professional development sessions, thoughtful reflection exercises and strategic planning. We are more excited and energized than ever to work together to grant more wishes for kids in Alaska and Washington!✨

✨ WISH ALUM SPOTLIGHT! ✨Charloette's wish to go on a family vacation to Walt Disney World may have been granted two years ago, but the impact lives on. They’ve stayed connected with their wish-granting volunteers, and now Charlotte's dad is becoming a wish-granting volunteer so he can bring hope and joy to more families in our community. 💙🌟

"Charlotte’s wish had such a huge impact on our family. Charlotte was 3 at diagnosis and her little sister was 15 months old. Their childhood was filled with separation, hospitals, and really difficult days,” shared her mom, Emily. “The wish trip gave us time to just be a family and for them to just be kids. It was so sweet seeing their eyes light up at everything - even the food on the plane! We are forever grateful for that gift.”

🐎✨ When Ella was little, her mom shared a cherished piece of her own childhood—a love for Breyer Horses. So when Ella qualified for a wish due to a respiratory disorder, her dream was clear. She wished to travel to Lexington, Kentucky for BreyerFest, the ultimate three‑day celebration of all things horses.

From meeting the real horses behind the Breyer models to hands‑on workshops and late‑night trade shows, BreyerFest is a horse lover’s dream. But for Ella, the most meaningful part was finding a welcoming community that shared her passion. 💙
