✨📖 WISH GRANTED! 📖✨

For Cheyenne, comics were more than a hobby. Throughout her treatments, storytelling and creating characters gave her a place to dream, imagine and escape into worlds of her own making.

Thanks to our incredible friends at Wizards of the Coast, Cheyenne's wish to create her own comic book became an unforgettable reality. 💙

For one extraordinary day, Cheyenne stepped into the spotlight as the featured creator at her very own Comic Con-inspired experience: WishVerseCon!

The event included a special artist panel, a comic book unveiling, opportunities to meet creators from Wizards of the Coast, a hands-on drawing workshop and even a cosplay contest inspired by Cheyenne's characters. Most importantly, it gave Cheyenne the chance to share her creativity with hundreds of people who were there to celebrate her vision and talent.

A heartfelt thank you to Wizards of the Coast, along with everyone who helped make this wish possible. Your generosity transformed a wish into something Cheyenne can hold, share and cherish forever. 💫

🌟 WISHES GRANTED! 🌟 Last week, five incredible wish kids and their families experienced unforgettable moments with our reigning Superbowl champs, the Seattle Seahawks. 🏈💙

Thanks to our amazing partners at the Seattle Seahawks, these wish children stepped behind the scenes of their favorite team, walked through the player tunnel, met players and coaches and cheered from the stands on game day. ✨🏆

For these families, the experience was about more than football. It was about sharing special moments together, creating lifelong memories and being part of something that brings their children the joy they deserve and need.

We're so grateful to the Seattle Seahawks for helping make these wishes possible and for creating experiences that will be remembered for years to come. 💙

But that's not all — Andi is also a cornerstone of our DEI Taskforce, driving our chapter's mission to foster a community where inclusion and diversity are at the heart of every wish granted.

“Wishes impact all of us. Wishes show that love, care and hope can be shared with so many people — not just a kiddo or their family, but our entire community,” shares Andi. “It brings me a lot of pride to help make my corner of the world a little bit better place.”

🍋 Today is National Lemonade Day, and we have some SWEET news to share! 🍋

Last week, the annual Pullman Lemonade Stand brought the community together once again in support of Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington, raising more money than ever before.

What began in 2018 as a small lemonade stand on a residential street in Pullman, WA, has grown into an extraordinary tradition of hope. After experiencing the life-changing impact of her wish, Shay was inspired to give back. With help from her wish-granting volunteer's kids, Jack and Marissa, she launched the Pullman Lemonade Stand to help create more life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Pullman community, this year's event raised more than $36,000! Even more remarkable, their lemonade stand has now raised over $182,000 since 2018!

From one wish child's gratitude grew a movement that changes lives, proving that even the simplest ideas can make an extraordinary impact. 💙✨

Thank you to Shay, Jack, Marissa, and the entire Pullman community for turning cups of lemonade into hope, joy, and wishes come true. 🍋⭐️

Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters and our partners at KOMO and Lotus Seattle, this year's frequent flyer mileage drive raised 15.5 million airline miles to help wish kids travel beyond illness and toward hope, joy and unforgettable experiences. That's worth celebrating. 🎉

But with hundreds of travel wishes each year, Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington could use more than 100 million airline miles annually to help make those journeys possible.

Reflecting on her time with Make-A-Wish, Caroline shared her favorite part of the role: “The people I have had the honor of meeting. Not only our wish kids, families and volunteers, but folks in the community that either have stopped me and shared their stories/relation to MAW or members and organizations that rally, believe, advocate, support and help our wish kids and us. It is incredible to be a cog in the machine, to be part of this community.” 💙
