Be part of the game-day excitement while helping grant life-changing wishes by volunteering to sell 50/50 raffle tickets at Lumen Field. Through the Seahawks' Spirit of 12 program, proceeds benefit several local charities, including Make-A-Wish Alaska & Washington.

"When Norah's family dreamed about travel, they never imagined a trip beyond an hour from home would be possible.

Living with a nervous system disorder meant navigating mobility challenges and relying on specialized medical equipment. But when Norah's wish to visit Walt Disney World® Resort came true, her WishMakers helped coordinate every detail, including transporting the medical devices she depends on.

At Disney, Norah experienced wheelchair-accessible attractions, colorful parades and sensory-filled adventures designed for every child to enjoy.

"To see her fully recognized in a world that usually isn't so accessible was emotional," said her mom, Tiffany.

This Disability Awareness Month, we're celebrating the power of wishes to create accessible experiences and remind families what's possible.

In 1989, Teresa made a simple decision that would change her life: she volunteered for Make-A-Wish.

More than 30 years later, Teresa reflects on the profound impact that decision had on her journey. "From the beginning, being part of Make-A-Wish felt special," she said. "The compassion, creativity, sense of community, and opportunity to bring hope and joy to children and families aligned deeply with the values I wanted to live by.

From volunteer to trustee to now an official Make-A-Wish staff member, her connection to the organization has come full circle.

"Looking back, some of the greatest gifts Make-A-Wish has given me are the people I've met, the lessons I've learned, and the countless moments that have reminded me what truly matters," she said.

When it came time to choose his wish, there was one place at the top of his list: New York City. Home to some of the world's most iconic pizza, the Big Apple gave

Camden the chance to turn his passion into a one-of-a-kind experience. From exploring famous landmarks to tasting authentic New York slices, every day brought a new adventure and plenty of pizza. 🗽✨

But wishes are about more than the destination. For children battling critical illnesses, a wish provides joy, hope and something extraordinary to look forward to.

Research shows wishes can improve emotional well-being and help children build the resilience they need during treatment.

💙 A wish can last a lifetime.

In 1993, Rick and Jolene's son, Joseph, had his wish granted: a trip to California to visit the set of Home Improvement. For a few unforgettable days, their family was able to set aside the challenges of illness and focus on something extraordinary, Joseph's excitement, his dream and the simple joy of being together.

But their Make-A-Wish journey didn't end there.

Today, Rick and Jolene give back as dedicated volunteers, helping create those same meaningful moments for other wish families. Whether they're supporting wish events, celebrating wish departures or walking alongside families throughout their wish journeys, they understand firsthand the impact those moments can have.

"For Jolene and me, volunteering with Make-A-Wish is our way of saying thank you," Rick shared. "It allows us to honor Joseph's wish and the kindness our family received by helping another child and family experience some of that same joy."

Hear from wish alum Natalie as she shares her story and how music helped bring hope, healing and joy during a difficult time. You'll also connect with fellow Wish Heroes, volunteers, donors and community members who are helping create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses across Alaska and Washington.
