We love our volunteers—our work wouldn’t be possible without their incredible dedication.

Today, we’re spotlighting Baskar Kesavulu. For more than a decade, Baskar has made service a way of life, bringing together families, youth, coworkers, and community groups to support Food Lifeline. In 2012, he began leading a youth group from a local chapter of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization to volunteer one Saturday each month—helping young people experience the power of compassion and giving back firsthand. What started with 12 participants has grown into a thriving group of 68.

Baskar believes generosity is contagious—that when we serve, we inspire others to join in, creating a powerful ripple effect of community care.
