Rajab, the seventh month of the lunar year, is one of the four sacred months of the Hijri calendar, during which fighting is prohibited and acts of worship carry more weight.

“O Allah, make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings).”

Rajab Month Importance
Rajab holds special significance in the Islamic culture and is also referred to as ‘Rajab - the separate month: It stands distinguished from the other three sacred months that fall together. Owing to its virtues, it is called by 18 different names, some of which are Al Mu’tahir (the cleanser), Al Mu’ali (the elevator), Al Mudar (of the tribe of), Al-Murajjab (the revered), and Al-Asamm (the deafening).

During this month, Muslims increase good deeds and refrain from doing anything that is not recommended by Islam

Sadaqah Jariyah, which is frequently referred to as an ongoing charity, is important in Islamic philanthropy, particularly when it is devoted to the departed. It symbolizes a kind of compassion that endures and benefits the giver long after they pass away. Sadaqah Jariyah is a potent way to provide a deceased person continuous blessings in the afterlife when it is donated on their behalf.

“Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Hell Fire!”

“O Allah, I seek refuge with You from anxiety, and sorrow, and weakness,and laziness, and miserliness, and cowardice, and the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men.”

“O Allah, to You belongs all praise.

O Allah, none can restrict what You have released, nor release that which You have restricted. [None can guide whom You misguide, nor misguide whom You guide.] None can prevent what You have willed to bestow and none can
bestow what You have willed to prevent. None can bring near what You had made far nor make far what You had brought near.
O Allah, give us in abundance from Your blessings, Your mercy, Your favours and Your sustenance.
O Allah, I ask You for eternal bliss, which does not change, nor does it end.
O Allah, I ask You for bliss on the day of destitution and safety on the Day of fear.
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evils of that which you had given us, and the evil of that You had prevented from us
