Alexander Hamilton was unlike any other founding father – "a self-starter, scrappy, the ultimate underdog" (Wilser). An opportunity to receive mentorship and guidance catalyzed him to leave a legacy that forever changed the nation. "Without AHS, I would not have had the direction I was given in the years leading up to college. My parents didn't go to college, my older sibling didn't go to college... but AHS gave me those opportunities, and they encouraged me to use them." — William Namvong

William came to AHS with no roadmap for college. Today he's a 3rd-year at UCLA, and this summer, he came back as our Marketing Intern, helping run the same Leader Week that once gave him his direction.

Today is the day, GiveBIG is here!💥

Meet Azeemah Sadiq, a 2025 Alexander Hamilton Scholar.

Growing up in Alief, a historically overlooked community in Southwest Houston, Azeemah saw how often her community was defined by what it lacked—not its potential.

So she decided to change that.

She founded Generational Relief, mobilizing young people around civic engagement and community advocacy—and has already helped raise over $50,000 to support local programs.

Now, she’s headed to Stanford University as a first-generation college student.

This is what happens when students are supported, seen, and invested in.
