Last month we were incredibly honored to award the first two John Veentjer Youth Maritime Scholarships on your behalf. Nearly $10,000 raised at last year's fundraiser went directly to two Washington State students already putting that support to work.

William is headed toward his officer's license and a career on the water in the Pacific Northwest. Owen is on his first training cruise aboard the Training Ship Golden Bear, and already thinking bigger than just his own career.

This industry built itself on people who showed up and made it happen. Your donations make sure the next round of those people get a fair shot at making it happen.

Learn more about this years recipients and donate now to the 2027 fund https://marexps.com/jv-maritime-scholarship-about/ And if you want to join us in person to celebrate we'll see you at the BBQ on June 25th, Pier 17, Harbor Island.

Thank you to our event partners: Wärtsilä Corporation, The Northwest Seaport Alliance, Vane Brothers, The Youth Maritime Training Association
