SODO BIA The S**O Business Improvement Area (BIA) is a non-profit organization that advocates for a safe, clean, connected, and engaged S**O.

A Business Improvement Area (BIA) provides a mechanism for property owners and business to collectively obtain the improvements they want to see in their district. The S**O BIA was created under the auspices of the City of Seattle in 2014. The mission of the S**O BIA is to advocate for a safe, clean, connected and engaged S**O, for the benefit of property owners, businesses, tenants, employees and

patrons of the S**O district. We provide our property owners, businesses, employees and their visitors with resources to succeed and thrive. This includes assistance or support for any of the following:

• Encampment and Homeless Support
• Clean-Up and Trash Removal
• Public Safety Concerns
• Beautification and Graffiti
• Street Repairs and Potholes
• Parking Issues
• Public Transportation
• Chronic Crime
• Streetlights, Signs and Traffic Signals
• Abandoned Vehicles
• Community Outreach

Last Friday, the S**O BIA, Alliance of Pioneer Square, and CID BIA came together to thank the businesses and ratepayers who helped make this summer’s World Cup a success.

Thank you, S**O! The World Cup may be winding down, but the S**O Welcome Center isn’t going anywhere. 🫶

A non-profit located in S**O, the Canine Companions Puget Sound Field Office enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing expertly-trained service dogs.

Help create a valuable resource that will support their mission for years to come. Seeking 4-5 volunteers before July 20.
