We are saying goodbye to our incredible Ben Reuler 🀧 and big welcome to Crissi Mora 🀩 Ben leaves Seattle Works after 7+ years as the Executive Director (til 2020) and Connector Director after we shifted to a distributed leadership structure. Stay connected with him through his recently launched LLC, In the Area Productions πŸŽ‰ &&& we are overjoyed to share the addition of our new Development Director, Crissi, who brings an abundance of experience in community centric fundraising and an excitement to build out Seattle Works’ fundraising systems. As always, we are eternally grateful for the people in our corner πŸ’ž

Join us on 10/20 for BIPOC Link-Up with Susan Balbas, executive director of 🌿 Go beyond a land acknowledgment - support financially, learn about the stolen land you exist on, build authentic relationships with Native community and people, understand decolonization and push for it in your workplaces. Continue to educate yourself and others on this nation’s genocide of Indigenous communities and unlearn what our white-centered institutional school systems have taught us. Strive to do more, show up for others, and invest in mutual aid.
