Forgotten Dogs Rescue Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a foster based nonprofit rescuing homeless dogs in Washington State.

Forgotten Dogs is a foster home based rescue organization located in the Tri-Cities and Seattle areas of Washington State. While Forgotten Dogs will take in any breed, we primarily rescue Pit Bull type dogs and mixes and other bully breeds. We focus on rescuing dogs from shelters, especially in Eastern Washington. ​

We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the d

ogs who have lost all hope—the forgotten dogs. Our Commitment
Once a dog enters the Forgotten Dogs Rescue program, we are committed to it for life. Our dogs live in private foster homes where they receive love, training, and learn to be members of the family. They receive all necessary medical care, and if they come to us with behavioral issues, we invest in training. We are committed to do whatever is necessary to help them become adoptable and find them amazing forever homes. And if at any point an adoption doesn’t work out, we will always welcome the dog back into our program. We make a promise to all of our dogs that they will never again be forgotten.

🚨 HUDSON NEEDS A FOSTER! 🚨

Our favorite goofy velvet pudding needs a new place to land in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area while he continues his recovery. ❤️

After being found badly injured and undergoing major spinal surgery, Hudson went from being unable to stand to WALKING AGAIN! 💪🐾

Hudson is 60 pounds of love, enthusiasm, and questionable awareness of his own size. He considers himself a lap dog, specializes in full-body snuggles, and proudly carries around enormous stuffed toys like they have a meeting to get to.

He’s social and respectful with other dogs, although his still-wobbly legs + approximately 147% enthusiasm for life can occasionally create a bit of a bull-in-a-china-shop situation.

Basically, his body is still recovering. Hudson’s spirit has already declared victory. ❤️

His foster will need to follow his activity guidelines and help get him to physical therapy appointments. Forgotten Dogs Rescue provides his medical care and support. You provide the safe place and an unreasonable amount of snuggling.

🚨Despite recent accusations, we do NOT practice unsafe labor laws within the rescue. Rocky is a passionate baker and loves practicing his kneading skills on nearby blankets and toys. Although he may not make the best pastries in Washington just yet, he's working on it!

If you're ready to bring home a little baker like Rocky, he's putting in the work! He's got a visual impairment, but that has never stopped him from reaching his full potential. Everything from picking his own toys at the store to playing around the yard with his pup friends show everyone just how great he is.

Lou went on vacation! 🌞🌴👙

Lou's fosters headed out of town for a few days, so Lou got to go on a quick vacay at a nearby temporary foster! She said her resort included exploring a new garden, book club, and getting some good pets. She's submitted her review:
" 9/10 stars. They made me take a bath after fixing the garden every time, but the treats were top choice and the pets were ever flowing. Highly recommend the couch."

PSA: Please do not call the authorities or offer your condolences. Rex is JUST FINE.

He is simply suffering from a severe case of Acute Sun-Drunk Laziness Syndrome (and a total lack of shame). He claims his body requires maximum surface area sun exposure to heal his soul. The pulse is strong, the snoring is loud, and the brain cells are taking a scheduled break. ☀️😴

You can help Rex in his quest to being the ultimate tanner! If you have a nice couch, treats, and a good sun spot, you can foster him! Even better? Adopt!!

Tobie wants to go everywhere with you, which is cute until you realize he’s also judging your fetch technique. 🙄 Here’s what you need to know about our little Doberman mix before applying to be his full-time assistant:

🧸Emotional support plushies: He refuses to go outside without a toy. He’ll also lay flat on his back like a dying beetle to play with it. Normal stuff.
⚾Fetch is a complete failure: He runs after the ball with 100% effort and leaves it there. Bringing it back? In this economy?
🥸Zero independent thoughts: He needs a resident dog in the house to mimic so he knows how to act confident.
🏊Paddleboard snob: Yes, he paddleboards. No, he won't help you steer.
