We are often overlooked in remembrance on Memorial Day. We have served in every major U.S. conflict over the last 200 years, and we have the highest rate of military service of any ethnic group in the U.S. Today, we remember our relatives and loved ones who have passed.

Harmful colonial practices are embedded in Western data systems. For decades, Indigenous people have been misidentified, misclassified, or erased through data genocide, which is the systematic erasure or omission of Indigenous people in data.

No longer. We are decolonizing data by reclaiming our traditional practices, dismantling harmful western methodologies and narratives, and uplifting the power and resiliency of Native communities.

Last month, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Watson v. Republican National Committee (RNC). Here's what you should know:

➡️ Currently 30 states, including WA, have a grace period for mail-in ballots. Ballots still count if they are sent by Election Day but arrive within a few days after Election Day.
➡️ If the Court rules in favor of RNC, this grace period would end, greatly affecting mail-in voters living in the U.S., as well as military and voters living abroad.
