Every kid deserves a place to feel understood after loss.

Thanks to the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, more youth in our community can access programs like Camp Erin, a space where grieving children connect with peers, share their experiences, and begin to heal.

Safe Crossings Foundation’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) recently spent time volunteering with our grantee partner, Griever’s Library. It was a meaningful opportunity for these young leaders to connect with a program dedicated to providing accessible grief resources for children and families.

We’re grateful for spaces like Griever’s Library and for the Youth Advisory Council members who are helping shape a more compassionate, supportive community for grieving youth.

Thanks to the One Roof Foundation and the Seattle Kraken, Safe Crossings Foundation received a $32,000 Hero of the Deep grant to help expand access to free grief support for all children and families.
