We’re excited to introduce the friendly faces you’ll see at football watch parties this season. Meet Leah Lewandowski!

🎓 Penn State Class of 1997
📚 B.A. in Political Science, Minor in History
⭐ Former Chapter President & Current Board Member

Leah moved to Phoenix in 2010 knowing no one and quickly found her Penn State family through the chapter. Since then, she’s made lifelong friendships and remained an active part of our community.

📍 You’ll find Leah at our Old Town Scottsdale watch parties at Mother Tucker’s Tavern.

💙 Favorite Penn State Memory: Serving as CCSG Multicultural Chair and spending Friday afternoons with fellow student leaders at Café 210 West before heading to The Shandygaff.

🍴 Game Day Favorite: Pizza is always Leah’s first choice, but since Mother Tucker’s doesn’t serve pizza, she and her husband have made the nachos their go-to game day food!

Be sure to say hello to Leah this football season. We Are!

⚾ Phillies vs. Diamondbacks – Chapter Outing! ⚾

Calling all of our Pennsylvania transplants and baseball fans! Join the Penn State Phoenix Alumni Chapter on Monday, August 31 at 6:40 PM as the Phillies take on the Diamondbacks.

If we have at least 25 people committed, tickets in the lower bowl behind home plate (between 1st and 3rd base) will be $65 per person.

Please fill out the Google Form to indicate your interest so we can get a headcount and coordinate ticket purchases. The link is also available in our bio!

The Penn State Phoenix Board has been hard at work behind the scenes planning and prepping for another incredible football season! 🏈☀️

From watch parties across the Valley to community events, alumni gatherings, scholarship initiatives, and more, we’re excited for everything ahead. Our goal is to make this our best season yet and continue building a strong Penn State family in the desert.

Stay tuned throughout the summer for announcements, events, and opportunities to reconnect before kickoff. We can’t wait to be back together cheering on the Nittany Lions with all of you!

From all of us at Penn State Phoenix, we wish you a meaningful Memorial Day as we reflect on the courage, service, and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes.

Wherever you’re spending the holiday weekend, we hope you take a moment to remember those who gave everything for our freedom. ❤️💙

Calling all Penn State Phoenix Penn Staters! 🦁💙

Our chapter is planning a group outing to see Saquon Barkley and the Eagles take on the Cardinals at State Farm Stadium this fall! 🌵🏈

At this time, the NFL schedule has not been released yet, so this is only an interest form and does NOT guarantee a ticket. We’re using this form to gauge interest from our Penn State Phoenix community before tickets officially go on sale.

🎟️ Estimated ticket package pricing: approximately $246/person
🍻 Expected to include all-inclusive food & drinks starting 1 hour before kickoff through the end of the first half
📅 Game date & time: TBD once the NFL schedule is released
⚠️ Limited to 50 total tickets

Be on the lookout for another post later this month once the schedule is announced! At that time, payment will be collected to officially confirm tickets on a first come, first serve basis.
