International Gator Day at the Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary with the Desert Gators on Saturday May 20th starting at 7:30am… should be done around 1pm.

And now the big news…in typical Gator fashion, we’ve broken records yet again this year! Although we’re awaiting the official, certified results, we raised more than 28,000 gifts this year across the university! And your work resulted in almost 4,000 gifts (3,996 at current count)!!!! That is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! And we’re still working on getting gifts posted, but we definitely exceeded our dollar goal as well, with over $160,000 in giving! Congratulations on all you accomplished

Today is the 5th annual Stand Up & Holler - Gator Nation Giving Day...we are up against every Gator Club in the nation...your assistance is needed. It is about the number of different Gators to contribute more than the dollars themselves.

Since that first Giving Day in 2019, Gators have pulled together to send 76,778 gifts – many for just $1 – to support programs, individual colleges, scholarships, research, infrastructure and everything else at UF.

This year, we’re trying for another record – 27,000 gifts in 24 hours. And it’s going to take every Gator to get us there, but luckily, thanks to Gators like you, we’re never short on love for this school!

As we are always looking to promote local business run/owned by Gators...I wanted to share Dan Siegel and Peak Performance located at 37th and Indian School. I have gone 2x over the past 2 weeks to work on some intense stretching and trigger point treatments...it is AWESOME. Dan also does personal training. He was a Gator (and club wrestler) in the early 90s and found out we lived across the hall from each other in Broward (just a few years apart). If you are in the market to feeling better...check him out...

OK Desert Gators...the last regular season game of the year...Come join us on FRIDAY, 5:30pm at Social Tap in Old Town Scottsdale.
Since there is no game on Saturday...and we all need to work off the Thanksgiving Festivities, we will be gathering for a little pickleball. Never played before, it does not matter...would love to introduce you to the game...meet some new Desert Gators and learn a new game. If you are interested, please direct message or email me ([email protected]) for more details. I have a court at my house and we will be gathering there at 9am on Saturday. All you need to do is show up...bring some snacks/beverages...and we can make a little party out of it.
