DC Ranch has officially been recognized as a Blue Zones Participating Organization, adopting evidence-based practices that support community well-being. Join us on Friday, May 29 from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Desert Camp Community Center to celebrate this exciting milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Brief remarks and light refreshments will be included.
Blue Zones Project® is a community-driven well-being initiative designed to make healthy choices easier through permanent and semi-permanent changes in environment, policy, systems, and social networks. By helping people live better, longer through environmental change, communities can lower healthcare costs, improve productivity, and boost national recognition as great places to live, work and play. Scottsdale is on its way to becoming a Blue Zones Community. That means residents and organizations are focused on improving well-being for themselves and their neighbors.
