Yesterday was a very special for all of us at Rise High. 💙

We were deeply honored to be recognized at the Key4Women Forum hosted by KeyBank .

Recognition like this is meaningful not simply because of the honor itself, but because of what it represents: the power of community, connection, encouragement, and people believing in one another.

Since 2005, Key4Women has been committed to helping businesswomen and business owners reach their goals through advocacy, meaningful connections, mentorship, resources, and empowerment. We’re grateful to be part of a community that understands how important it is to lift others up and create opportunities for them to thrive.

To be recognized alongside so many inspiring leaders was truly humbling. We’re incredibly grateful to KeyBank, Key4Women, and everyone who has supported Rise High along the way.

This moment is a reminder that success is never achieved alone. It’s built through relationships, collaboration, and a community that shows up for you.

Thank you for believing in Rise High. We’re honored, grateful, and inspired to continue rising - together. ✨

🏁 And we have our Grand Prix winners! 🏁

After three weeks of careful designing, building, testing, and tweaking, we held Rise High’s first-ever Mousetrap Racecar Grand Prix - and our students brought their A-game! 🚗💨

🏆 Fastest: Team Patrisa!!! - 1.16 seconds across a 5-foot span
🏆 Farthest: Team Something Cool, with “The Halloween Machine” - 57 feet
🏆 Funkiest: Team Something Cool, with “The Halloween Machine”

The Farthest category was incredibly close, with The Farthest McQueen taking a special award for an impressive 56 feet! 🏎️

Congratulations to all of our winners in each grade, and to every student who put so much creativity, persistence, and ingenuity into their cars. You all made our first Grand Prix one to remember! 🎉🔧🏁

Our students and mentors put the finishing touches on their cars before hitting the track, competing for top honors in three categories: Fastest, Farthest, and Funkiest.

A huge congratulations to all our racers for bringing creativity, teamwork, and plenty of problem solving to the Grand Prix! 🏆🔧

At Rise High, we learn by doing hard things, experimenting, and embracing failure as part of the process. Our 7th and 8th graders put that into practice on Saturday, building their racecars for the big design challenge. Next up: taking on the high schoolers!

Saturday was Day 2 of our Design Challenge for the Mousetrap Grand Prix. Our 11th and 12th graders worked hard on their design features to be the fastest, go the farthest, or look the funkiest in the competition!
