Folks, what better time than Monday night to visit with your local Clearwater TU buddies and learn about some exciting times on the Battenkill! Jacob Fetterman from has been leading the charge for wild trout habitat improvement and our Clearwater TU members have been major supporters and volunteers in the process.

Join us Monday night for a great presentation at our local spot, the Zaloga VFW here in Albany. Hope you’ve all been out chasing trout on these beautiful Spring days. We’ll see you Monday!

Folks: We’re just a few weeks away from our March 21st Angler’s Flea Market / Spring Extravaganza! This annual event is a local favorite for a Saturday morning pre-season shopping & casting how to (or tune up) perfect for the curious angler in us all.

Rows of some special local collectors and vendors who are sure to have some angling & outdoor goods that you couldn’t possibly live without. Come on out bright and early, 9AM —1PM. We’ll have the coffee on! ☕️✌🏼🎣🛍️

Clearwater TU’s Annual Angler’s Flea Market returns on March 21 to the Joseph E. Zaloga American Legion Post in Albany.

⁉️Do you have any used or new fishing gear (fly or spin) that you no longer use? Got a collection of angling books or art that needs a new home?

Tables for vendors are $20 and available for registration now! Send an email to Marc and let him know you would like to sell at the show and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Each year we offer a large venue and a fun one-day sale that helps raise money for the efforts of our TU chapter and to meet new local trout enthusiasts just like you! Come grab a great deal on some well loved gear or make space in your closet for your wish list.

Aug. 28th 6-9pm - All Are Welcome

We’ll be tying flies and talking trout with folks of all ages from 6-9pm on Aug. 28th at the lovely Albany Outpost. Bring a vise and tools if you like, or just come for the hangs. Whether you’re new to fly tying and still learning how the bugs and trout come together or a seasoned vet with countless hours at your bench, we’ve got a seat at the table for you.

Exciting chapter events coming up and lots of opportunities to help out if you’re interested! Delicious foods, beers and great hospitality at Common Roots, so come on out and whip up a few bugs with buds 🎣🍻

Riverfest returns on Sunday, June 1st! Gather up the kids, bring a side dish, and come picnic in the park with us from 12-3PM. We'll be grilling burgers and hot dogs, playing lawn games, casting a few rods, raffling off some truly awesome prizes, and hosting Larry Abele for a kid-friendly stream sampling session in Geyser Creek.

It's a fun, laid back afternoon in the park and a great chance to reconnect with chapter members and meet new friends. Our annual board elections will take place during Riverfest, as well as our annual canoe raffle drawing.

We hope to see you there!
