Q.U.I.L.T.S. Quilters United in Learning Together, Schenectady (Q.U.I.L.T.S.) is a group of avid quilters who enjoy and share the craft of making quilts. Q.U.I.L.T.S.

is a group of avid quilters who enjoys the design, color, artistry and craft of making quilts. The Guild was formed in 1980 and has approximately 90 active members living in Schenectady, Saratoga, Albany and surrounding communities. The range of quilting experience in our membership varies from beginner to expert. Some of our members are very experienced, and have taught classes and published articles and patterns. Several members have had their quilts shown on local, national and international levels. Many of our members are beginners, who joined the guild to learn how to make quilts. No matter what the experience level, there is always something to be learned and everyone has something to share. members meet to learn, laugh and enjoy the quilting experience with others.

VETERANS QUILT SEW-IN

The guild is hosting a Veterans quilt sew-in on Veteran's Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2026 from 10am - 4pm at the Rotterdam Community Center, 705 Curry Rd Rotterdam NY. Kits are available at no charge. Just bring your sewing machine, thread, the usual tools and notions, and your lunch/drink. We will have extension cords, and iron/ironing board, cutting mats and rulers, and snacks (fruit, chips, cookies). We have good lighting but you may want to bring a chair cushion. Finished quilts will be donated to the Albany Stratton VA Hospital and The Fisher House. Please RSVP here or to Lisa Wend.
