We’ve recently had the distinct pleasure of welcoming a new Board Member: Jessie House!

Jessie is one of 518FN’s success stories, having taken an interest in film a few years ago and starting to attend our events to connect with local filmmakers. Now she’s acting in productions, helping run our social media, and now officially part of our leadership. We’re so grateful for her enthusiasm and dedication to our community; our organization is better for her involvement. If you see her at the next mixer, say hi!

Jessie House (she/her) is an actress and writer from Saratoga Springs, NY. She attributes her love of writing to her love of film/books and the desire to contribute to the world of storytelling. She is actively working on scripts with the hope of putting her words on screen or on bookshelves. She began her acting career in 2024 as Brigid in a theater production of “The Humans”, and has most recently completed her first feature as Vanessa in “Dual Plans”. She’s eager to gain more experience and expand her career as an actor and is grateful for all the connections 518 Film Network has provided her.
She’s currently the Digital Marketing Specialist for Discover Saratoga, the Tourism Bureau and Film Commission for Saratoga County. She is also a member of the Saratoga Springs Arts Commission and an assistant coach for RPI Field Hockey. She is a Marvel nerd, but also a sucker for the more whimsical, with her favorite film being “La La Land”.
