Here's some info about Schenectady Pools!:


1. Central Park is open to the public:

M-F 8am-9am, Lap Swim only (Starting 6/24)

M-F 12:30pm-6:30pm, Open Swim

S&S 12pm-6pm, Open Swim

Central Park Pool closes August 25th.

2. Quackenbush and Front Street are open to the public:

M-F 12:30pm-6:30pm, Open Swim

Saturday 12pm-6pm, Open Swim

Sunday, CLOSED

The season ends for these two pools on August 23rd.

Pool Rules

0-5 year-olds must have an adult in the pool with them
6-10 year-olds must have an adult on the pool deck
13 and older must have a photo ID
No fees for residents or non-residents
No alcohol
No glass

Local musicians and poets will be performing! We’re still looking for three artists, so if you’re interested in performing please reach out to us on Instagram or Facebook!
Our performances will be live streamed on Facebook and Instagram for those looking to attend virtually. If you’re interested in joining in person, please message us on social media to RSVP and please be Covid conscious and wear a mask!

Happy Women’s History Month!

During the month of March, we celebrate, uplift and support all women! What started as “Women’s History Week” in 1978 in Santa Rosa, California focused around International Women’s Day, quickly spread across the United States. Thanks to women across the country, after organizing and gaining support, by 1995 the United States proclaimed March to be Women’s History Month and has each year since.

Schenectady HEART would like to leave a reminder to all:
To truly support women, your support must be intersectional and diverse, just like the women of this country and just like the women all over the world.

We thank ALL the women who came before us who made this world a better place.
