# EVIDENCE VIDEO – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

**Georgia Paranormal Investigations**

As part of your investigation report, Georgia Paranormal Investigations (GPI) has provided a link to the evidence video compiled from our investigation. You are welcome to view the video online and download a copy for your personal records.

# # # Listening to EVP Evidence

We strongly recommend listening to the evidence video using **headphones or earbuds in a quiet environment**.

Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVPs) can be extremely subtle. Some are softly spoken and may have a faint, breathy, or whisper-like quality that can be difficult to hear through ordinary computer, television, or phone speakers.

# # # How GPI Presents Audio Evidence

To preserve the integrity of the original recording, each potential EVP is presented first as it was **originally recorded**, without alteration.

The clip is then replayed for closer examination. During the replay:

* The recording may be slowed by **no more than 20%**.
* The **volume is increased** to make faint audio easier to hear.
* No additional audio manipulation is performed.

GPI intentionally limits audio processing because excessive filtering, noise reduction, equalization, or other forms of manipulation can alter the characteristics of a recording and may unintentionally create, remove, or distort sounds. We believe this can compromise the integrity of potential EVP evidence.

# # # Why We Do Not Subtitle EVPs

GPI does **not** place subtitles on potential EVPs telling you what we believe is being said.

Once a listener is given a suggested phrase, it can influence how an ambiguous sound is perceived. We prefer that you listen to the recording first and decide for yourself whether you hear a voice and, if so, what you believe it says.

Our goal is not to convince you of a particular interpretation. Our responsibility is to document, preserve, and present the evidence we collected as objectively as possible.
