The reason we ask the same list of 14 EVP questions at every investigation, before asking questions realating to the location:
IF you're presenting paranormal investigation as a field investigation rather than just a ghost hunt, using a standardized set of EVP questions is one of the most important ways to apply basic scientific principles.

You could explain it like this:

Why We Ask Standard EVP Questions at Every Investigation

A core principle of the scientific method is consistency. If the methods change every time an experiment is conducted, it becomes difficult to compare results or determine whether a finding is meaningful.

For that reason, our team asks a standard set of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) questions at every investigation. These baseline questions serve several purposes:

Consistency: Asking the same questions at every location creates a standardized procedure that can be repeated and compared across investigations.
Data Comparison: If responses are captured to the same questions in multiple locations, investigators can compare patterns, response rates, voice characteristics, and environmental conditions.
Reducing Investigator Bias: Without a standard protocol, investigators may unknowingly ask leading or emotionally charged questions that influence how evidence is interpreted. Standard questions help minimize this bias.
Repeatability: A key part of science is that methods can be repeated by others. Having a fixed set of questions allows future investigations to follow the same procedure.
Control Data: Standard questions create a baseline. If unusual responses occur during these questions, investigators can evaluate them against responses collected from other locations and investigations.
Documentation: A consistent questioning format makes evidence review more organized and allows investigators to better track trends over time.
Example

If one investigation asks:

"What is your name?"
"How many spirits are here?"
"Can you tell us your age?"

But another investigation asks completely different questions, there is no common reference point for comparison.

However, if every investigation begins with the same 10-15 baseline questions, investigators can compare hundreds of EVP sessions over time and look for recurring patterns, responses, or anomalies.

A Professional Conclusion

"While paranormal investigation is not a traditional laboratory science, applying scientific principles such as consistency, repeatability, documentation, and bias reduction helps improve the quality and credibility of the evidence we collect. Standardized EVP questions are one way we bring a structured investigative method to every case."
