Everyone please welcome our new member in training Carin

Carin has spent years exploring the paranormal and spiritual side of the unknown, developing a deep appreciation for the experiences and phenomena that exist beyond what we can easily explain. She considers herself highly sensitive to energy and often picks up on subtle shifts in an environment that others may overlook.

A lifelong resident of Georgia for most of her life, Carin has always been drawn to the history, stories, and places that make the state such a fascinating setting for paranormal investigation. Her approach is rooted in curiosity, respect, and a genuine desire to better understand experiences that cannot always be easily explained.

Outside of paranormal investigation, Carin works as a phlebotomist and has a background in audio engineering. Her experience with audio gives her a particular appreciation for careful listening, recording, and analyzing potential evidence—especially when investigating unexplained sounds and possible EVPs.

As an investigator, Carin brings together her sensitivity to energy, technical experience, and passion for the unexplained, approaching each investigation with an open mind and a willingness to follow the evidence wherever it leads. unique. Growing up surrounded by so much history has only added to her curiosity about the places, people, and stories that are often left unexplained.

What draws Carin in most is the possibility that there are things in this world we don’t fully understand. Whether it’s the history behind a location, an unexplained experience, or something captured during an investigation, she enjoys digging deeper and seeing what the evidence has to say. Sometimes the most interesting part isn’t finding an answer, but discovering another question along the way.

# # We're Accepting Applications for New Investigators

Georgia Paranormal Investigations is looking for a few dedicated individuals who have a genuine passion for investigating claims of paranormal activity—not chasing ghosts for entertainment.

Our mission is to help people experiencing unexplained activity by conducting professional, respectful investigations focused on gathering evidence and providing honest answers whenever possible.

**This is not what you see on paranormal television shows.**

# # What We Do

* Conduct residential and commercial paranormal investigations
* Interview clients to understand their experiences
* Collect and analyze audio, video, photography, environmental data, and other evidence
* Review investigation evidence after every case
* Prepare simple investigation reports
* Participate in client Zoom interviews and follow-up meetings
* Present educational library lectures and community events, especially during the Halloween season
* Occasionally participate in fun investigations of historic or well-known locations

# # What We're Looking For

We're seeking team members who:

* Have a genuine interest in paranormal investigation
* Are dependable, enthusiastic, and committed
* Can dedicate the time and energy required to be an active member of the team
* Are willing to learn and follow investigative procedures
* Show initiative and work well as part of a team
* Are professional, respectful, and compassionate when working with clients
* Have good communication skills
* Are comfortable using technology or willing to learn

**No previous paranormal investigation experience is required. We provide training to all new investigators.**

# # Commitment Required

Please apply only if you can realistically commit to being an active member.

Our investigations are typically conducted on evenings and weekends. Some cases may require overnight travel. Team members are expected to participate in investigations, review evidence after each case, attend occasional Zoom interviews with clients, assist with educational events, and stay actively involved between investigations.

This is **not** a casual hobby or a team you join simply to attend a few investigations. We are looking for **long-term members** who are willing to grow with the team and contribute consistently.

# # Volunteer Position

This is a volunteer opportunity.

Every member donates their time because they are passionate about helping others. **Clients are never charged** for our investigations, and team members are responsible for their own travel, lodging (when necessary), meals, and personal equipment expenses.

# # Is This Right for You?

If you're looking for thrills, television-style ghost hunts, or instant excitement, this probably isn't the right fit.

If you're curious, open-minded, skeptical when appropriate, compassionate toward people seeking answers, and excited about careful investigation and evidence-based research, we'd love to hear from you.

If you're ready to make a real commitment to helping people while exploring the unexplained with a professional team, we invite you to apply.

# # # Interested?

To request an application, please email us at:

**[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])**

Please include a brief introduction about yourself and why you're interested in becoming part of Georgia Paranormal Investigations.

We look forward to hearing from individuals who share our passion for seeking answers, following the evidence, and helping those searching for them.

The reason we ask the same list of 14 EVP questions at every investigation, before asking questions realating to the location:
IF you're presenting paranormal investigation as a field investigation rather than just a ghost hunt, using a standardized set of EVP questions is one of the most important ways to apply basic scientific principles.

You could explain it like this:

Why We Ask Standard EVP Questions at Every Investigation

A core principle of the scientific method is consistency. If the methods change every time an experiment is conducted, it becomes difficult to compare results or determine whether a finding is meaningful.

For that reason, our team asks a standard set of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) questions at every investigation. These baseline questions serve several purposes:

Consistency: Asking the same questions at every location creates a standardized procedure that can be repeated and compared across investigations.
Data Comparison: If responses are captured to the same questions in multiple locations, investigators can compare patterns, response rates, voice characteristics, and environmental conditions.
Reducing Investigator Bias: Without a standard protocol, investigators may unknowingly ask leading or emotionally charged questions that influence how evidence is interpreted. Standard questions help minimize this bias.
Repeatability: A key part of science is that methods can be repeated by others. Having a fixed set of questions allows future investigations to follow the same procedure.
Control Data: Standard questions create a baseline. If unusual responses occur during these questions, investigators can evaluate them against responses collected from other locations and investigations.
Documentation: A consistent questioning format makes evidence review more organized and allows investigators to better track trends over time.
Example

If one investigation asks:

"What is your name?"
"How many spirits are here?"
"Can you tell us your age?"

But another investigation asks completely different questions, there is no common reference point for comparison.

However, if every investigation begins with the same 10-15 baseline questions, investigators can compare hundreds of EVP sessions over time and look for recurring patterns, responses, or anomalies.

A Professional Conclusion

"While paranormal investigation is not a traditional laboratory science, applying scientific principles such as consistency, repeatability, documentation, and bias reduction helps improve the quality and credibility of the evidence we collect. Standardized EVP questions are one way we bring a structured investigative method to every case."
