Volunteer Spotlight – Meet Mimi✨

Mimi Burbage brings decades of experience in building energy efficiency, affordable housing, and community development. She has led statewide weatherization efforts, supporting rural and remote communities through energy efficiency retrofits.

Currently, she serves as Program Manager for Weatherization Services at the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, overseeing grants, compliance, and quality control across multiple agencies.

Mimi is also a BPI Board Member and contributes to the standards committee for BPI 1100 and 1200. She also serves as President of Energy OutWest, advancing weatherization efforts nationwide.

Volunteer Spotlight – Meet Joe✨

Joe Medosch is the Director of Training at measureQuick, President of Upskill HVAC. He is an Industry Master Trainer, national presenter, and his diverse background in multiple trades provides a unique understanding of “The House and Occupant as a System.”

Joe has been evaluating homes for 20+ years and has been a Comfort Consultant / Trainer for over 15+ years providing solutions on healthier, energy-efficient home performance. He is also the co-creator of Retrotec's rCloud app. He achieved and contributed to multiple BPI credentials and certificates. Joe also co-developed the Healthy Home Evaluator public curriculum with Kevin Kennedy and contributed to the Healthy Housing Principles Reference Guide.
