Volunteer Spotlight – Meet Phil✨

Phil Hull has spent his career advancing building science, energy efficiency, and workforce development. As Director of the CHP Energy Solutions Research and Training Center, he leads accredited training programs that prepare professionals to succeed in the home performance industry.

Before joining CHP Energy Solutions in 2010, Phil performed residential and light commercial energy audits in North Carolina. He holds a master's degree in building science, has trained professionals across the U.S. and internationally, and holds multiple BPI certifications and Virginia Residential Building Energy Analyst state licensure.

Phil also serves on the Energy OutWest Board of Directors, helping advance energy efficiency and weatherization efforts across the industry.
