Think Pink, Upstate New York Beer Fans! Because it's time for the release of our very special Think Pink Drink Pink collaboration beer - brewed by the women of the chapter of the

Think Pink, Drink Pink - Pale Ale with Prickly Pear and Guava - 5% ABV

This stunningly pink pale ale is a gorgeous representation of females in the fermented beverage industry. The prickly pear is a symbol of hope and endurance, so we felt it appropriate to condition this refreshing, easy drinker on prickly pear and guava for a tropical twist, symbolic of all the amazing female and female identifying members in the industry. Grain was graciously donated by Hudson Valley Malt, a part female owned operation. Hops, hop sauce, and fruit were provided by NY Hop Guild, and a healthy pitch of Cosmic Punch yeast came from our friends at Omega Yeast. The result is a light pale ale with loads of tropical notes from the hops and fruit, with a clean refreshing finish. Raise a glass of this beauty and give a cheer to support all the hard working females out there!

The next chapter meeting will be held at Hudson Valley Malt in Germantown, NY. Hudson Valley Malt creates malt the "old school heritage way" through the process of floor malting. They malt locally grown barley, wheat and rye for local brewers and distilleries who are committed to using local ingredients.

Our host, Jeanette Nesel, will be our guide around the property and give us some insight on their malting process.

Come learn about the products in brewers and distillers grain bills!
