So incredibly proud of our completed Peace Blanket to be donated to Wellspring!

This was a joint effort of some 25 members of the Saratoga Peace Pod. Each person knitted a square or two. Our own Terry Bour crocheted all the squares together and Voila! One amazing blanket!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the creation of the blanket. It is guaranteed to make someone feel warm and loved this winter.

Announcing a workshop on how to knit Peace Pals!

These scrumptious little dolls were developed by Knitting4Peace volunteers to create comforting companions for children in global areas of conflict.

Saratoga Peace Pod members Amy Thomas and Laurie Bouchard are also expert Peace Pal creators and will lead this workshop.

Due to Covid and space concerns, attendance will be limited to six (6) vaccinated knitters. We will keep a waiting list in case of cancellations. There is a possibility of a second workshop if there is enough interest.

Participants should have some experience with knitting in the round on double pointed needles.

First come first served, so RSVP by sending a message to [email protected] as soon as possible.

Suggested donation: $ 15.00 (for Knitting4Peace)
