🎻 For the first time in Carpe Diem Theater’s history, we have a LIVE orchestra for Oliver!

Over the weekend, our cast and musicians came together for a sitzprobe — the first rehearsal where the performers sing with the full orchestra. It was an exciting milestone in the rehearsal process, and we can’t wait for you to hear how gorgeous this show sounds!

Last week, our very own Nancy (Lauren Schirnhofer) led a workshop for our cast on the power of the ensemble!

Oliver! is packed with iconic ensemble numbers, from “Food, Glorious Food” to “Consider Yourself” and “Oom-Pah-Pah”. Lauren’s workshop encouraged our actors to explore how every individual performance contributes to the energy, storytelling, and heart of these unforgettable moments on stage! ✨
