Building peace in the Holy Land since 2005 with multifaith & intercultural people-to-people programs!

The Abrahamic Reunion is a team of religious & spiritual leaders – men, women, Jewish, Muslim, Christian, & Druze – dedicated to uplifting human consciousness and building peace in the Holy Land by opening hearts to the love and wisdom of all spiritual traditions. Founded in 2004, The Abrahamic Reunion has been to two Parliaments Of The Worlds’ Religions as featured presenters, and has convened inter-religious peacemaking dinners every year since 2004. During the 50-Day Gaza War of 2014, AR leaders decided to begin organizing one event every month to bring more people together to fuel the causes of tolerance, amity, understanding, and harmonious coexistence. The Abrahamic Reunion seeks to be a living example of our values and beliefs; to find and support other spiritual peace makers and organizations; to provide training for those interested in spiritual peacemaking; and to create and implement interfaith programs, celebrations, youth activities and other educational initiatives.

UPDATE FROM Abed Alsalam Manasra, AR PROGRAMS DIRECTOR
My dear brothers and sisters everywhere,
Salam, shalom, peace to all of you.

Over the past three months, my journey has been one of learning, connection, and hope.

From the east coast of the United States to Germany, Istanbul, Jordan, and the Holy Land, I have continued working toward one essential purpose, bringing people together even in the midst of pain, conflict, and division.

Through my speaking tour across the east coast of the United States, I had the opportunity to meet communities, share stories, and inspire people to become part of the work of peacebuilding.

In Istanbul and Jordan, through workshops and programs with the United Religion Initiatives, URI, we explored the power of dialogue, deep listening, and understanding across religious and cultural differences.

In Germany, through our from pain to peace program, the second cohort, we worked with young peacebuilders, building relationships and exploring how we can transform pain and trauma into understanding, connection, and hope in the Holy Land.

My work with the Abrahamic Reunion has continued to bring together Jewish, Muslims, Christians, and Jews and Samaritans, creating space where people can share their stories, listen to one another, and recognize the humanity we all share.

I have also shared this message through media interviews, reaching millions of people across Israel, Palestine and helping more people discover the mission of Abrahamic Reunion and its commitment to dialogue, coexistence and peace.

This work is not always easy. But every encounter, every workshop and every conversation reminds me that peace is not simply an idea. It is something we build together. One person, one story, and one connection at a time.

Thank you to everyone who has walked alongside me and supported this journey. Your support matters. Together, we can continue building bridges, healing wounds, and bringing more light into a world that deeply needs it.

ABRAHAMIC REUNION TREASURER
(Virtual/Remote or Sarasota, FL)
The AR Treasurer can be a Board or Non-Board role. The AR Treasurer should have strong financial skills and love PEACE :) Ideally, CPA or Accounting, Bookkeeping, Quickbooks Online, and Nonprofit experience and skills. The AR Treasurer works with the Finance Committee and Executive Director to oversee bookkeeping and insure quality and guidance for our finances. This should be less than a 5hr per month commitment, more if attending monthly board meetings.

BOOKKEEPING FOR THE ABRAHAMIC REUNION

The AR is a small NGO with a sub-$400k annual budget. Primarily we need help insuring our expenses and income are all properly categorized, and that the Quickbooks Online are set up to produce proper reports. Work with the AR Treasurer, Executive Director, and Finance Committee to insure easy and smooth reporting to keep our small nonprofit on track. This should be a very manageable amount of work, estimated 5hrs or less per month.

We are happy to pay a competitive rate commensurate with experience and services, but would love Pro-Bono service offerings from established firms who have the capacity to help a small NGO grow and thrive.
