Father’s Day can hold a lot. For some, it’s full of gratitude, cookouts, dad jokes, old photos, and the steady love of someone who showed up again and again.

For others, it can feel complicated. Maybe you’re grieving a father, longing for a different kind of relationship, missing someone who is no longer here, navigating infertility or loss, or parenting with little support.

Today, we’re holding space for all of it. 🩵

What does “sit with it” really mean and how do we do it?

It means giving yourself permission to feel what’s there without rushing to fix it, numb it, or judge it. Sometimes healing begins with a deep breath, a gentle question, a good cry, or simply naming what hurts. Be patient with yourself! Heavy feelings can soften when we stop fighting them. ❤️‍🩹

This free evening is designed for those recovering from disaster to enjoy a little creativity, connection, and community care. No art experience needed, just come as you are!
