11 Bachelors Join Forces for Charity Auction at McCurdy’s Comedy Club
On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, McCurdy’s Comedy Club will host a unique and entertaining charity auction featuring 11 eligible bachelors aged 22 to 69, each offering incredible date packages to raise funds for various local charitable causes. This fun-filled event promises not only a night of laughter but also the opportunity to make a significant impact in the community.
Each bachelor will present a curated date package that includes exciting experiences such as restaurant gift certificates, gym memberships, personal training sessions, theatre tickets, trolley rides, and much more. Attendees will have the chance to bid on these exclusive packages, with all proceeds going to support the bachelors chosen charity. The event is being chaired by Karen Cadou and all tickets sales will go to her organization, Building Hope Against Breast Cancer.
The evening will be hosted by the dynamic duo Mark Klecka and Kim Livengood, who will keep the energy high and the audience laughing throughout the event. With their comedic talents, they will ensure that the auction is not only engaging but also filled with light-hearted fun.
“This event is not just about finding love; it’s about coming together as a community to support important causes,” said Karen Cadou. “We are thrilled to have such a diverse group of bachelors willing to contribute their time and resources for charity.”
Bachelors and their charity include, Making strides against Breast Cancer, Walk to End Alzheimers, Truly Valued, Manatee Performing Arts, Sarasota Holiday Parade, Sertoma of Sarasota, DementiAbility, Suncoast Charities for Children, and The Sarasota Players. It’s a great way to have fun and help your favorite organizations.
