New Yorkers will now have choices when they face imminent death. AVfC has campaigned on this issues for many years.

Terminally ill New Yorkers deserve the right to make their own end-of-life decisions, with appropriate protections in place.

Dylan Hewitt will be a guest speaker at our monthly meeting on Sunday, December 21 @ 6:30. Details and Zoom link can be found in our newsletter coming out on Friday morning.

Hewitt is running for Congress in New York’s 21st District, the House seat currently held by Elise Stefanik. He is a seventh-generation Upstate New Yorker, born and raised in South Glens Falls, and served our country as a White House Trade Official.

Dylan will spend time introducing himself, sharing his background, and listening to the issues and concerns most important to AVfC members and our community.

This afternoon (11/23) at the AVfC Hub in Saranac Lake artist Mac MacDevitt exhibited his interactive sculpture "Broken Circle" to the public. The interactive sculpture will be on display at the Hub in Saranac Lake until the end of the year for visitors to view and to add their own personal statements to the sculpture.
